Meijer in Holland, Michigan is a family-owned, one-stop shop offering great food, brands, and value. It provides the freshest produce delivered daily from local growers, custom-cut quality meats, seafood delivered six days a week, bread baked fresh daily, and low prices across more than 40 departments. Customers find it has just about anything they need, with produce noted as tons better than other local stores. The Southside location is described as newer, always clean, well-stocked, and organized, with everything under one roof and plenty of parking. Most of the store is well-organized, and employees are generally friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, though finding help can sometimes require a little patience. However, experiences can vary. Some shoppers report issues with produce handling, noting bruising on items like corn. There have also been significant problems with pickup orders, including long waits, lost groceries, and incorrect charges, requiring intervention from helpful customer service to rectify. Additionally, customers are advised to watch scanning at checkout closely, as items sometimes do not get rung up accurately, necessitating a trip to customer service for a refund. While many are rarely let down and are happy with the store for all their shopping needs, others note a reduction in late store hours post-COVID. The store encourages savings with weekly specials and mPerks.
W/O Meijer, my family would starve. We are there at least once a week.
