Bought a brand new door from Lowe's and found quite the manufacturing defect. It had a half dozen or so staples through the bottom threshold into the door itself, holding it shut. I will NEVER buy anything from them again as I now completely lack confidence in the products that they sell.

I ordered blinds online and thought they were a "standard " size. Box came with "custom cut" on the side and were the wrong color. Refund policy online said return to local store. At the Holland, MI store customer service desk, a sign was hanging stating no custom cut blinds could be return. Thanks to a manager ,Paula in blinds dept, they resolved my return issue and a whole lot more!!!

We went to Lowes on a Saturday morning at 10:30am to look and probably buy an exterior door and 2 windows. We waited a few minutes in the windows and door area. My husband walked to the flooring department to ask for some help. We were told that they had no one working in that dept for the day. We then asked to have a manager help us and were told there was not a manager there either, no one could help us. We had questions and a special order. I have never experienced this poor service at Lowes. I wonder if it's hard to find good employees these day? We ended up going to a different place and ordered what we needed.

Insane return policy! Had a shockingly bad experience at the Lowe's in Holland, MI. Shortly after Black Friday, we bought my parents a microwave oven. When they opened it on Christmas we discovered the turntable base was broken. Thinking it should be easy to remedy we stopped by this Lowe's to exchange. They took back the return, but told us that to exchange would be $100 due to today's price because the appliance had been purchased at a different Lowe's. This is insane! I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF A NATIONAL CHAIN NOT HONORING EXCHANGES FROM ANOTHER OF THEIR STORES!! When in exasperation we just wanted to take back the original damaged appliance we had brought back they said they could only sell it back to us at today's increased price!!! This is utterly crazy. After calling a manager they were finally able to let us take back our own appliance, but the manager was absolutely indifferent to the whole situation. We just looked up Lowe's official return policy which says you have 90 days to exchange or return items at ANY Lowe's store. This store is not even honoring corporate policy! I honestly don't feel I can trust Lowe's and certainly not this one that makes up their own rules!

Nov. 2022 I ordered the LG Tower washer and dryer and it was delivered and installed by a couple of courteous men. 20 minutes later I walked into my tiny laundry room to find a puddle coming from under my freezer situated tightly next to the tower. I thought I would call the to men back that had delivered to maybe keep "corporate" out of it and give them a chance to fix but they accused the freezer of being the problem and said it was on me. So at 70 years old, I dragged a step ladder in there and laid over the top of my upright freezer and could see water running down the wall from the hookups. Meanwhile water was accumulating on the basement floor below, going through the new flooring I had had installed the week before. It took half the day to hook up with someone at Lowe's equipped to handle my problem and they said they would have someone call to set up an appt So I just lost half my post here on Yelp. Not going to retype now. So after requesting they not send the same guys back, that's exactly what they did. My son was able to tighten the hoses for me. No thanks to Lowes. Never again, Lowes!

I initially had an issue with buying storm doors from Lowes home improvement dept. The sales man was an utmost professional and correcting the situation and long last not only fixed the problem but had the installers come and they did the most perfect job! Installers name was Mike andI am thankful for their team and recommend buying storm doors from Lowes. I will buy my next three interior door from them.

I bought a Craftsman 60 gallon air compressor from Lowe's and the motor went out in a month. They gave me a hard time switching it out because they couldn't find my purchase even though I had bought it with my Lowe's Credit Card. After 2 hours of searching, they swapped it out with an 80 gallon craftsman air compressor and I paid the difference because they didn't have any more 60 gallon compressors. After installing the new compressor, the control module went out 2 months later! I called the warranty and it is a third party that I had to wait on hold for an hour, and they need the receipt of purchase. I lost my receipt so I went back to Lowe's to get my receipt. They said they need the exact date of purchase in order to provide a receipt even though I bout it with my Lowe's credit card. If you are a business, DONT PURCHASE CRAFTSMAN FROM LOWES. It'll be at least a month before you are back in business. And if you do purchase from Lowe's KEEP EVERY RECEIPT because you won't be able to do anything without it. I rested assured that I would be able to quick fix any issues simply because I assumed that they were able to access my credit card purchases; I was mistaken. Craftsman used to be my favorite tool brand, ever since Sears went out of business they have gone to crap. Sad

Checkout situation is a disaster. Never any checkers. Self checkout broken or people need assistance. It's like they think they are doing me a favor by letting me give them my money. Only shop here because I have to. I miss customer service
