Office will text you 2 to 3 times for confirmation of appt. However unusual my physical was canceled due to physician being sick. Office called very early which I missed, no texts. I organized my day to arrive at 3 pm. Even though they never heard from me they did not text me. A text would have been appreciated.

Nurse practitioner Jennie Woehl and her assistant was amazing so helpful and I love that my kids are so comfortable when they are seen by Jennie, thank you Lakewood!

I have been a patient here for 40+ years, and I have never had a bad experience. They have been nothing but kind. Dr. VanderVliet was my 1st Dr. Now I see Dr. Lindberg. They are both amazing Dr's. I have moved 45 minutes away from the office, and I chose to still drive there because I feel like they are the best. Thank you, Lakewood Family Medicine.

Rudest front desk ladies ever! The staff are horrible, always having an attuite! Weather it's in person or on the phone they're always horrible! Short and snippy with us. I've been coming with my mother to her appointments for years now. And it's always the same! The medical staff are nice, but the other staff have zero customer service skills! Maybe this place should teach their staff some customer service skills or how to treat people with basic human decency.

I've been a patient of Dr. Smith for 40+ years. He is an exceptional physician! When I got Covid during the pandemic he called to see how I was doing and offer help. I got a positive Cologard screening within the past 6 months, he called to tell me the result, while reassuring me that it was nothing to worry about, as usual he was right. My only concern is he'll eventually want to retire. I'm positive I will never find a better physician than Dr. Smith. He's a fantastic doctor and his collaborative style makes working with him a real pleasure.

Staff at front desk have been extremely rude every time I’ve gone in for my appointments.

Thank you Beth Peters for your excellent care working with my daughter. You were so wonderful answering questions and putting us both at easy. Not just knowledgeable, but excellent bed side manner.

Had an appointment which is pointless cuz I have to see another specialist so pretty much all I need is a referral to see another Doctor so today's purposes pay $20 to my Doctor just for him to give me a referral to see another Doctor when in reality you can safely did that over the phone without me even coming in I'm sorry but that's a complete rip off I'm not going to allow you to rob me it's not fair and it's not right so I guess back to urgent care I go

Carpets are stained with who knows what. Some kind of liquid on the fabric. Weight scale is filthy. I cannot lost all the things that made me feel unclean

Atrocious front office staff. Called to ask if they were accepting patients as they have openings according to their website. When i was told they are not accepting new patients, i asked kindly do you know where i might be able to look next? She directly me to my insurance as a resource. I had let her know my insurance gave me a short list and the few I’ve tried thus far are not accepting patients either. She got an attitude stating “this is what she’s instructed to say and cannot help me”. When i told her i do not appreciate the attitude she immediately hung up on me. I called back 7 times, being answered no response and promptly hung up on before someone answered. I asked to speak to the office manager and file a report regarding that staff member. I was transferred and hung up on once more. I called back and the girl who transferred me answered again. She stated she would pass the message along to the manager and start the complaint. I’m supposed to receive a call tomorrow from the manager. According to other reviews, i shouldn’t hold my breath. Do no go here. Do not take your loved ones here.

Wow. I called to make a new patient appointment (after seeing online that one of their doctors were accepting new patients) and the receptionist nearly hung up on me! I asked to make a new patient appointment and she was very short, rude and said they aren't taking any new patients and hung up on me before I could ask another questions. Healthcare at it's finest.
