“Sad to see this store go. As a kid my dad would take me hereto shop around for hard to find hardware. He always enjoyed having projects around the house. Dad won’t be here anymore but at least I can walk around for the last time and remember the times with dad.”

“Ask for Gwen! I purchased a kitchen sink and faucet from TA Gentry six years ago. Recently, there was a small issue with the faucet. In spite of the fact that I didn't have my receipt, Gwen went above and beyond not only to find documentation but to contact the manufacturer on my behalf. I now have a perfectly working faucet at no extra cost. Customer service and quality product is a winning combination.”

“This store is large. They have a good variety. It is very clean and the items for sale were pretty clean also. Prices were good as per most of these stores. The staff was friendly.”
“I ordered blinds online and thought they were a "standard " size. Box came with "custom cut" on the side and were the wrong color. Refund policy online said return to local store. At the Holland, MI store customer service desk, a sign was hanging stating no custom cut blinds could be return. Thanks to a manager ,Paula in blinds dept, they resolved my return issue and a whole lot more!!!”
“My husband and I had a great experience at Lowe's today! 2 specific people made our experience exemplary! Excuse me for not knowing Mary's last name, but she was working the self checkout on Sunday 6/30 at about 6:00, she was so kind and showed us that people do still care! Also, Robert LaCour - he came in and saved my husband's evening by showing us more kindness than we have experience in the customer service industry in a long time!
