“Cherry Republic has my heart. I tried this store for the first time in Traverse City. Although they have a much bigger location, Holland’s is just as great! They have everything cherry flavored you could ever imagine. I was there for a bachelorette & we all did the wine tasting. For $9 you get 6 generous samples & a wonderful employee to walk you through each type! They even give money off if you buy one from the tasting. The Sunset Blush & Balaton are the best wines for a sweet, but tart cherry flavor. We didn’t try their slushies, but they looked delicious! You can also try their sodas, and the black cherry cream soda is phenomenal. Don’t leave without a bag of dark chocolate covered cherries & maybe a few other items lol. The staff was also nice enough to let us keep our bags there all day & pick them up before we left.”
“Great locally-owned gift shop in the heart of Downtown Holland. The workers are very knowledgeable about everything Dutch (just ask them about tulips...) and are very helpful.
Lots of knick-knacks, from cups to figurines, wall decorations, and ever wooden shoes! Prices are about what you'd expect for a novelty shop.”

We love their alpaca items and bought one for a baby shower. Also so many jewelry pieces that are beautiful! I like that the store is a fair trade member also. We will definitely return”
“My 2 1/2 year old son and I love coming into the store. Our favorite part would have to be the unique, wide variety of trinkets, toys, and books there are to choose from! I personally appreciate all they have to offer. From home decor, jewelry, to gourmet food, cards, you really can’t go wrong here. Their staff is always extremely friendly and helpful and they give back to the community which is huge.”

“This is just one of those places you like to go to or return to just to see what’s new, what’s cute, what’s in season. The whole staff is friendly and helpful and such a pleasure to chat with.
Even though I’m not a craft person I have family and friends who are and this is a go-to for a quick gift.
There so much to see - it’s great because I always miss things that I find on my next visits.”
“Fantastic store with lots of selection of spices, jellies, kitchen goods, and more. The store is so cute, welcoming, and staff was helpful. The prices are really fair across the board. Highly recommend to locals and travelers alike!”
“Carolyn’s art is bright, beautiful and makes me happy. I’ve purchased several prints, bookmarks, flags and cards over the years. There’s always another print I’ve got my eye on. Thanks for sharing your talent with the world! I love all of your art!”
“Wow! What an experience! I am sorry I didn't purchase a clock, but you sure did treat me as if I bought several! So kind, friendly, and informative! I was just fascinated with the details and functionality of these amazing works of art! They also have a great collection of beer steins! I watched some educational videos and experienced some timeless pieces at work. I recommend that even if you don't want a clock... stop in and be amazed! I am definitely getting a clock next time I'm there!”
“Stopped in and smelled all the candles and everything smelled amazing. It was hard to only choose one. I decided on lavender breeze and have burned it twice. The candle burns really well and the scent isn’t too overwhelming which I appreciate. Next time I am in town I will have to make my own candle!”
