After turning 65 this year, I decided that I had neglected my fitness too long and needed to do something about it. Having had two back surgeries and a recent back/hip injury, I was concerned about doing the right type of exercises that would restore and not hinder my body. Anna, my trainer, has done an exceptional job of putting together an excellent and varied program each time we meet and has been so positive and encouraging. I am so excited about how much stronger and healthier I feel in such a short time!

Fitness Together is wonderful. I was athletic and after I had 5 knee surgeries and multiple other knee procedures, I’d lost confidence and skill. I’ve had countless PT’s. My trainer at Fitness Together is the first person who has had the skill and dedication to help me. This has changed my life from being completely inactive and defeated to working back to doing everything I want to do. Jenny is beyond anything I could’ve hoped for. She changed my life.

I have been training here for the last 4 months. My trainer is Anna - and she is TERRIFIC! She creates an exercise regime each week that REALLY is geared specifically for me. Anna also has my well being at heart - I have to be very careful regarding my wrists when exercising - and she has, from the start been VERY mindful of this. If I voice a concern about any exercise, (except whining!), she quickly changes/adjusts the exercise accordingly.

Fitness Together is a great place for one on one training in a very comfortable environment. I have never been a very athletic person, but at age 50 decided to take control and work on me. Luke my trainer has been very encouraging. He never has me doing the same thing every session, but still gives my entire body a great work out. I highly recommend Fitness Together and Luke in Holland, Michigan.

This place is AWESOME and mostly because of my fabulous trainer, Jenny DeJonge. I broke my ankle at the end of December and have had to wear a boot for the last 4 weeks. She has really gone above and beyond to “change up” my workout to strengthen the areas that are affected by the awkwardness of wearing the boot and also exercises to keep that leg from “freezing” up. Well worth EVERY penny I have spent the last 3 years.

I recently decided to enlist in the military and was given a ship date a few months out from when I swore in. I wanted to use this time to get in the best shape that I could and thought the help of a professional may be needed. I found FT Holland just a short walk away from my recruiters office. They did give me a military discount despite me not having been in the military quite yet. Much appreciated. I explained to Luke exactly what my goals were and what I needed to work on to get ready. Max Pull ups, 2 min. push ups max, 2 min. crunch max, and 1.5mi run time. Brought the crunches from just 20, to 56. Pull ups from 7 to 13, push ups from 28 to 46, and 1.5mi run time from 12:15 to 10:52 all in about 6 weeks or so. He did this all while maintaining highest levels of professionalism, enthusiasm, encouragement, and respect for me, as well as all other clients I am sure. Most of all, we saw the results I was looking for in the areas described above. Great experience working with Luke and I recommend him, and all other FT trainers highly. Thank you very much, FT Holland.

Great friendly staff , spotless facility and 1-on-1 training so much fun ,very educational you learn how to exercise correctly .
