Sad to see this store go. As a kid my dad would take me hereto shop around for hard to find hardware. He always enjoyed having projects around the house. Dad won’t be here anymore but at least I can walk around for the last time and remember the times with dad.

Brought a key in for a copy a couple of weeks back. When asked if we needed help we mentioned we needed a key copied and the employee actually sighed. He made key and when he was done he stated that, (paraphrasing) “idk if it’s going to work, I’m not that good at these! We were thinking, uh why not ask for help then? Fortunately it did end up working but just felt uncomfortable and like we were a burden on the employee the entire time for asking for a copy of a key. We went there as well to try to support locally! Make sure the person that’s qualified to make keys feels confident in it.

Van Wieren is awesome! A family owned and run hardware store that has virtually anything you need. Customer service puts V.W. over the top for me - I've always been able to find someone when I've needed help finding something, and everyone has been super friendly.

Our business has been a customer since Van Weiren's opened. I, personally, became a customer in 1995. Knowledgeable, friendly, personable, has everything and always willing to talk and help.

Van Wieren Hardware is my local convcenient 'go to' hardware store - always friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable service! They have everything, and then some, of what you would expect in a local hardware store! Open every day, except Sunday.

This was my dad's (architect/engineer) go to store in Holland and it is mine also. You get expert help, service, and a wide range of products. They keep my mower running, the pipes flowing, and Christmas isn't Christmas without a few stops to see what they have each year. Thanks for everything!
