Over the last 12 months this location advertises that it is open 24 hours. It is not. The doors are locked at various hours of the day without signage with exception of my visit today. I understand that staffing is an issue but when plans are made around the 24 hour availability it is extremely frustrating to a customer. There is usually no employee in sight at this location. Self checkouts are your only option.

Standing in "Consultation" area in Pharmacy waiting for someone to assist. There was literally no other customer around the pharmacy area at the time and multiple employees behind the counter. Someone in Pharmacy finally comes up and asks if I had a question. Definitely the "customer is bothering them" vibe. Obviously, that is why a person is standing there...for a question. I ask them for the item which would clearly fall in their area, and the person in the pharmacy says I have to go to someone in the front of the store for help. Pharmacy employee doesn't walk around to help or try to look, doesn't walk me to them...just sends me walking clearly with no care whatsoever. Again, this is a pharmacy item and again, there are no other customers in pharmacy at the time besides me. Literally more people in Pharmacy working than customers (which is me). So I go to the front and the person says "that's odd" when I told them pharmacy sent me. Of course, they immediately walk me back to pharmacy to where the item is on a shelf....literally in pharmacy.1 star to pharmacy, horrible customer service.3 stars to front area for taking care of customer and doing the job. No one apologized for the experience.Giving 2 stars as the average. Will never go to this store for a pharmaceutical matter. They clearly do not care about the customer, and I wouldn't want such a mindset addressing pharmaceutical issues for my family. Might go to this store for a matter that is not pharmaceutical.

So nice over the phone. Answered all my questions and made sure I was able to get my sons prescription transferred and filled with little wait.

I know it's truly challenging to get workers currently, but at some point if you are that miserable that I feel like I should apologize for you having to get out of bed, maybe the service industry is not for you. At the pharmacy counter early evening, the young woman pharmacy tech announced to the line, "you have a LOT of prescriptions". Now normally I wouldn't include this in my write up, but half of Holland already knows. This was then followed by a heavy sigh. I realize picking up 12 oz of perspirations is heavier than a paper clip but maybe doing a few arm lifts tonight when you pick up your burger bag may help in your ability to do your job. All in all it was a 4 sigh heavy breath 4 minutes because I had asked for a receipt and confirmation on the insurance card in the system. For the most part the store is ok and have encountered some nice staff, but one person can really affect how you feel about a business. As they say one bad apple.

I don't usually go out of my way to write reviews. Especially for something as plain and simple as an out of town pharmacy visit. However, I am so grateful to the pharmacy staff who went above and beyond to help me when the Southwest Airlines had lost my luggage with my insulin and pump supplies for the treatment of my Type 1 Diabetes.Yes,I know, I should have carried all those supplies on with me but TSA has made it more difficult to carry on syringes and ice packs and SWA has always been a dependable airlines. Anyhow, I only had a few hours/units of insulin left in my insulin pump before I was going to run out of Insulin and since I just refilled my 3 month prescription prior to traveling from Los Angeles, my horrible insurance company was not making any accommodations to pick up 1 Emergency vial to get me thru my trip. Rather than have to pay the exorbitant price of over $350 for uninsured insulin, the staff jumped into action and was trying to locate discount codes, activate prior-authorizations to no avail. The young lady behind the counter who didn't know me and would never see me again treated me as if I were family and persistently exhausted all options. She dug deep and recalled some prior training and reached out directly to the pharmaceutical rep on my medicine who had previously trained her on how to handle someone with my specific issue of the airline losing the medicine needed so I didn't end up in the hospital or worse. By the time I walked out of the Holland CVS, I had all the necessary medication to last the entire business trip. I received a call the following day from my doctors office back home who notified me that he couldn't write me the necessary prior authorization needed to fulfill the emergency bottle needed because he just filled my 3 month prescription back in LA. I just laughed and told them "Thanks for Nothing". My friends at CVS already took care of me. I hope that someone from CVS corporate and the pharmacist from the CVS/Holland, MI read this because the young lady and young man that went out of their way to help me deserve to be commended. Grateful and AppreciativeThank You

Overweight mail pharmacist with brown hair is the rudest pharmacist I have ever encountered! After standing in line for more than 5 minutes at the counter and being told he would help me, I patiently waited for him to finish with the drive through. When he was done with the drive through, he came to check me out for some OTC medications and I was told by him he was too busy for me and that he could not help me, even though no one else was in line at the counter or rive though. He sent me to the front cashiers where they had 10 plus people waiting in line to be checked out. Very, very poor costumer service and clearly can not handle his job!!!

On 06/11/2021 I went to pickup my prescription at the outside drive through because there was a car at the window. And automated message came on stating that some would be with me in a moment. The person at the window finished and drove away. I was just sitting there waiting to be helped next wham a car pulled up the the window and reserved service before me. This type of customer service happens to me last year at the same CVS only it was inside the store. I'm transferring all my prescriptions to a different business. Customer service at this location has proven to be the worst.

Whoever is managing this pharmacy needs to be fired. They couldn't fill my script yet couldn't be bothered to tell me that, so not only did I make a trip for nothing, I ran out of my medication while trying to transfer my script elsewhere. They are rude and incompetent.
