I personally did not have a good experience. I’m sure many people do, but the combination of their computer system being down and an impersonal service advisor led to a pretty bad overall feeling.
TLDR: shifty pricing but the repair works.
We needed a new alternator on our Honda. Average cost according to Google is about $800. Plus a battery puts you at about $1k. I ended up paying $1775 at Crown. That is for an OEM part, so I expected it would be a bit more.
My service advisor was Ryan Knight. He quoted the price at $1680. I agreed to it over the phone. When the job was done 3 days later (couldn’t get the part I’m told) it was higher. I care about the $100 but what I care more about is that he changed the price AFTER we agreed to a price over the phone.
Their computer system was supposedly down for the entire time my car was being prepared so his error might have came from that. He had no record of the original quote, just the one he pulled up the day I called to get the car. However, speaking to him was like speaking to an automated system. Me: I think you made a mistake. Him: not possible. Repeat x 20. Very stoic on the phone.
Anyway, I went to the dealer because I thought it might be a computer issue. Really,
I’m more of a “support your local mechanic” person anyway.
To be clear I don’t think they were intentionally dishonest— I think the issue was that he didn’t remember the quote he gave me over the phone. And really, the ethos of that place is more of a “the customer is always wrong” than the alternative.
Walked away with a bad taste. I don’t feel ripped off as much as I feel like they don’t care.

Worked with Kevin Smalley at Crown in Holland and very happy with his overall service. Super nice guy, trustworthy, and it’s clear he genuinely cares about his customers. Would highly recommend seeking him out if you’re in the market for a vehicle!

We just bought our second car from Crown Honda. We have had nothing but great experiences with the dealership. If you go to Crown Honda ask for Enver Bekric. Enver is hands down the best salesman we have ever worked with. He knows every detail of the car and works with you to get the right deal. I was there to look at a different car and Enver educated me on why I should go with the car we purchased.

Another dealer that will try to make sure you leave as much of your money with them before you leave.

Nickel and dime you every way they can. I went to another Honda dealer to buy a different vehicle and experienced waaay fewer fees than Crown charged. Their service department is also difficult to deal with, lack transparency, and are incredibly expensive.
Just drive a bit further and go to a different Honda dealer

Trevor W. Is the most patient and accommodating salesperson I have ever met. All the questions and time I took (3 visits) and driving cars and he never once was impatient.
My Hat is off to this great guy!!!
He’s also not pushy like every other car sales person I’ve ever dealt with!!!!

In general, a fair experience. Some ups and downs. Test driving went well. Trevor seemed nice and attentive.
A few of the issues: About 1 hour after we drove off the lot, the "low tire pressure" kept popping up on the dashboard. Both left-side tires were very low. I added air at a gas station, but sign kept popping up. There was also a series of rubbing scratches (looks like sandpapering) on the windshield right in front of the driver's view, which we had not noted before and are incredibly irritating. These scratches are now impossible to remove without replacing entire windshield! Relatedly, the car came with a couple of thin gold-color stripes along the sides, at handle level, which I asked whether they could be removed. They were removed, but the result was another set of scratches at one end, indicating an abrasive approach. For the record, I had to ask three times to get all sticky remnants removed. One more issue I only noticed after final purchase: driver seat configuration had changed to a very strange memory setup (i.e. all the way back, on the lowest setting, and far reclined). No idea how that could have happened. Every time I turned the engine off, I had to reset it, until new configuration was entered in memory. Finally, a note about cleaning: detailing was well done under the hood an in the exterior, but the car interior had quite a few spots that were cleaned hurriedly and were left looking far from detailed, with one area in the trunk markedly dirty. Also, passenger seat appeared to have never been cleaned.

Honestly I think the service department here is incompetent. I booked service because my brakes were making noise. They passed my brakes on their “inspection” but in the end they charged me for a broken lug nut, which presumably they caused. The tech said the car was fine and they couldn’t hear a noise. The noise persisted after I got my car back, so two weeks later I went to another dealer. Guess what they found? I need the front brakes pads and rotors replaced. SMH. How do you miss this when I say it only happens when I brake. Then charge me a separate service that not only doesn’t fix what I brought it in for, but I didn’t even know if I really needed or how it happened. Oh and good luck trying to get a hold of anyone while your car is there. I’d avoid this place and go anywhere else if you can.
