Community Action House Resale Store is a clean, organized, and inviting thrift store. The displays are fresh and artfully organized, making it easy to move through the store. It offers a variety of items including furniture, clothes, books, and bicycles. Many find the staff to be helpful and super. However, opinions on pricing are mixed; some customers feel the prices are fair and reasonable for the decent stuff, while others, comparing it to other thrift stores, find it pretty pricey and feel it has become more and more overpriced. A noted concern is that lights are shut off about 15 minutes before closing, creating dark spots some find rude and a safety hazard.
There are lots of good Christmas stuff right now. I was disappointed that they have raised their prices quite a bit, but then everyone has. Look carefully because some things you can buy new cheaper. There are also some very unique items .

This place has new stuff out everyday so there is always some new treasures. And now they have regular sales and price markdowns too.
