We trusted them with the original transmission in our '69 Z28 and they did a great job. They can have a long lead time - our job took 4 weeks, but it was worth the wait to have it done right and with care.

I was recommended by a friend to try this business for routine car maintenance. I was excited about trying a smaller shop over the dealership because of the specialized care and attention I hoped my car would receive. I used them three times for routine oil changes, a full brake job, battery replacement, and spark plug replacement. The cost for these services seemed much closer to what a dealership would charge, but the service was not exceptional. I'll provide an example to support this claim. For two of the three visits, I brought to their attention a strange noise from one of the rear brakes. The first time, they claimed they fixed it, but they did not. The second time, they also claimed they fixed it using a different method, but they did not. They did, however, still charge me for both visits. I later took my car to a different local business. That experience was much better. The shop tried multiple attempts to fix the problem, and only made me pay when the problem was fixed. Overall, my experience for the handful of times I went to Capizzi Automotive was not great. I'm sure that they do good work, but my experience was not an example of that.

New timing belt and water pump on my Mazda Miata 2 days ago. All seems good so far. This shop has a Mazda Master Tech. Out of four shops I called, this one got my car in soonest, and price was in line.

Dropped my Camaro SS off because I had no 4,5,6 gear in my Transmission. They rebuilt the Transmission and reset all the settings and Transmission is working amazing. Thank you for the work you did on my car. Very happy customer. Will recommend this shop to everyone I know.Service: Transmission
