I will NEVER NEVER NEVER EVER rent another car from this establishment. I rented and picked up a car on a Sunday morning. A 5 1/2 trip to Ohio and turned right around. I dropped my keys in their drop box around 1am picked up my car, all good. This past Sunday I repeat that trip returning my special needs siblings home.I again did a turn around dropping the keys in their drop box picked up my go home. Tuesday morning I check my bank account to see if my deposit for the car had been returned NO NOT YET AND the have taken another 563.00 So 332.00 for rental and deposit and an extra 563.00 WHAT WHAT They tryed to tell me it was for smoking cleaning fee of 450.00. Um pardon me I DONT SMOME NEITHER DOES MY SPECIAL NEEDS SISTER NOR MY DOWN SYNDROME BROTHER which is who Id went to pick up . UNBELIEVABLE Theives As I told the rep. Im 60 (1) I Don't Smoke. If I did I believe I would've smoked in the first car. I have the car for a 5 1/2 hour trip each way I'd smoke. Fortunately the rep returned all of my monies except the rental amount but that was absolutely bullcrap. Never ever Budget again. Enterprise is a little further drive for me if I should need to rent another car but Im hoping it will be a better experience. BUDGET IS VERY UN PROFESSIONAL.

I had made a reservation for September 2, 2023 a week in advance. I prepaid in full for this reservation at the time I booked it. I went to the location in Holland to pick up my vehicle. As I was getting ready to check out, they wanted to run a credit check on me. I have less than perfect credit so I didn't pass the credit check and therefor they would not rent to me even though I already paid in full for my rental. I told then that I've rented with Enterprise in the past multiple times and I've never run into this. This was a vehicle rented for a very special vacation with my father and mother (father is sickly) and sister and her family as well. They made me call the customer service number to get a refund, and I had to go to Enterprise to rent my vehicle. Shame on me for not renting from them in the first place as I was only trying to save a little money since times are tough these days. My father had to rent the vehicle for me as I didn't have enough available cash to rent it. Enterprise made my whole day as they don't require some stupid credit check as a basis for worthiness when renting to customers. Thanks for nothing Budget! Enterprise always!

I made a reservation with Budget online. It was confirmed, and I prepaid. I showed up at the Budget office in Holland and they told me there were no cars available. My only option was to drive 45 min away to get a car at the airport or change my dates. So they gave me a customer support number to call about a refund.The customer support team told me they would be happy to cancel my reservation, but couldn’t refund me any money. Quite a deal.Never use Budget. If you have to use them, never prepay. Certainly not a company you can depend on.

STEVE SAVED US!! Seriously can't say enough good things. We were in a moment of crisis and Steve came through and helped us. Our engine blew 6 hours away from home and Steve was the only person within 40 miles to have one vehicle left available. Above and beyond customer service. Thank you for taking care of us and making sure we got back home to Indiana.

Ease of rental, vehicle was clean. Had a horrible time getting a call into the Holland, MI office. Must be understaffed, as I was always put on hold and then never gotten back to. Returning the vehicle was fast and easy.

Had a reservation for 4:30pm today for a 2 week rental. Showed up at 4:33pm and person behind the counter closed his computer as i walked in and calmed they are closed already even with closing time listed as 5:00pm for the location. Asked him, if your closed today when do you open tomorrow, his reply was "we dont have a vechicles available till Saturday". Called up budget customer services while on site at 4.39pm n they said the location is open and have vehicles available for rest of the week. Have rented several vehicles from here over the years n never had a issue before but seems management doesn't care anymore

I have been renting from Avis/Budget for several years now (mainly from Holland location). Steve and team are always very professional and accommodating. Cars are clean, full of gas, and reservations honored. Although the Holland location is a smaller site I commend Steve and team as they continually make improvements (new interior paint, new payment system, etc.). I would definitely recommend renting from this location.

They want to try to charge you for everything even after you provide all the proof there is no upkeep or spare tires in their vehicles. Very disappointed in this very ridiculous service. I had a blowout and they are trying to charge me over 4000$ make that make sense?

Steve was very friendly and had me out the door quick. The place was clean. The car was clean also. My return was just the same in and out quick with friendliness, I’ll be back with them for sure!!

The man was rude as hell. I showed up to rent a vehicle and went to put the payment on the credit card, he was mumbling and I couldn't understand him so I asked what did you say and he looked and said I'm not renting to you...HE WAS SO DISRESPECTFUL....

This budget loaction went above and beyond for my family! Staff was very attentive, supportive, caring and worked with me through a situation outside their normal bandwidth. I would highly recommend that you rent from Budget Car Rental in Holland!

The gentleman who was running the counter was super friendly and knowledgeable. He got me in and out very quickly. The vehicle was ready when I arrived, and was exactly what I requested. DO NOT BELIEVE THE OLD YELP OR GOOGLE REVIEWS! This location is under new management since Summer 2021, and it is fantastic. Also, they have expanded their hours, and are even open on the weekends for several hours to make returning cars on the weekends easier. One thing to note - the automated phone answering system isn't great. Tell it you want to talk to a representative until it passes you through. It will send you to the Budget call center, but it's better than dealing with the automated system.
