They have been great to work with. Matt Jones has communicated well every step of the way and made the process of repairing my vehicle stress-free. When issues arose, he was quick to identify solutions and rectify the situations. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

This place is horrendously unprofessional. They wrote me an estimate for repairs and then when I dropped my car off I didn't hear anything for over a week. I called them up and they told me they didn't have an estimate anymore and hadn't even written one. I literally had an estimate done MONTHS beforehand and was told it would be "X" amount of dollars. I was even told what parts were needed too. My car has now been sitting there for over a week while me and my wife coordinate everything at home with one car. The guy handling our business there was either fired or let go so all of our information he had on our claim was lost. Nobody told us this for weeks and weeks and I had emailed him several times to no avail and wondered why nobody was getting back to us. When we dropped the car off nobody knew who were were and we had to re-explain everything a second time. If this wasn't an insurance claim I'd never take any of me vehicles here for repairs. If you're unfortunate enough to have to get work done here expect it to take a long time and hope you have an extra car.

Communication was terrible, I was told things would be done MUCH sooner than ended up happening. at one point I was told they would get me a loaner car, but that did not end up happening. Sometimes the delays were unavoidable (lack of parts available, waiting on insurance, etc) but they were not forthcoming with the information, I would have to ask for updates. The staff was courteous and sometimes apologetic, but I had almost a week of being told my car would be done the next day, then it would be "sorry didn't happen today, we will have it done tomorrow", on repeat. after I was told the repairs had been completed there were several days we were told the car was waiting on being cleaned and then that it had been cleaned but didn't pass inspection. I usually had to initiate communication to get an update. The repair looked very good in the end, but it sure was a frustrating experience.

Would give them the world’s worst review had told me my car was only going to be in the shop for 1-2 weeks they ended up braking parts on my car took a little over a month to get my car back and there was so many scratche all over my car they told me I’d have to pay for it after talking to a manger and got told it would all be tanking care of by them don’t even want to bring my car in for them to fixService: Body & Trim

Had my wife's car repaired here last year for a deer hit. During repair process Ken was not good at contacting me for progress or even when the car was supposedly ready to pick up. When we picked up the car we noticed scratched and chipped paint on the trunk and trim that was not installed properly. Ken assured me they would fix this as soon as a loaner was available. I stopped in and personally talked to him a few months back he assured me I was on the list and they were just busy. It has been a year and there still has been no word from him. I would not use this body shop again they don't communicate , they do poor work ,and don't stand behind their work.

The workmanship on my truck is top-notch. I see why they are a preferred recommendation from my insurance company. The only drawback was timing. They said it would be done in a week. When I showed up that Friday for pick up, they hadn't even started on it. MUCH better than their service department operates.Services: Body & Trim

This shop is absolutely awful! It took months to get a vehicle in for a minor repair, it was like pulling teeth to talk to someone. We were told that the collision shop is different from the dealership. Ummm if my name were on the door I would certainly care Ryan! We’ve been loyal clients for 12 years plus if the dealership. I would rather walk than get a future vehicle repaired here.Service: Body & Trim

Update: 9/6/2022.I have to take off a couple of stars. I had a minor ding on my fender (no paint damage) I called them and asked them if they do paintless dent repair (PDR).. They said yes, but would have to look at it. I took drove my vehicle in and the young man that looked at it said "yea, that's going to need to be fixed and painted".. I told him no, I had seen much worse and it should be an easy PDR fix.. he said "he had never seen one like that was fixed with pdr". I asked to talk to his PDR guy, and he then says they outsource some independent out of Lake Orion and Id have to arrange for him to come out. HUGE waist of my time and I was told incorrect info!I then called and actual experienced PDR shop and the PDR Tech said it was a minor ding and easy to do for $150. Lafontain was telling me a simple $150 PDR ding was going to (likely) be over a thousand dollar job of fill/repaint. How can I now trust this Fontaine shop for any future issues? Shame.Original : They repaired a minor side ding and scratch on my Enclave driver door. Flawless job, undetectable repair. They were polite, accommodating, and fast.Service: Painting

We just received our truck back it had a full replacement of my bumper and it looks amazing, not only that i was in the middle of detailing my interior which is a lengthy process when i had to bring her in. A bird left their excreement on my Outback which left a raided patch in my paint after being on for less than 14 hours. I took the vehicle in as a warranty rwpair and Lafontaine Xollision would not repair it as a warranty claim. I then had to call Subaru Customer Carw who quickly provided a voucher to cover the repair. Unfortuanely, it took over 6 months before LaFontaine could take the vegicle and provide a loaner. The communication from LaFontaine was poor - I had to call back repeatedly to dind out if a loaner was available instead of LaFontaine advising me - it was quite cumbersome. The loaner was a disappointment as they gave me a 2016 Buick w/ over 64k miles - nothing like the Touring XL I dropped off.Once they took the vehicle in, the repair process went well though it took longer than planned.It was a disappointing experience, but because there are so few asunaru dealerships in this area, I am stuck to patronize them in the future.
