Recommend absolutely anything from the bakery, the carrot cake, tiramisu and lemon berry mascarpone cake are AMAZING! And the young lady, Ayla who works the bakery every weekend is so kind and helpful, even when the customers are not. Give this girl a raise, she’s always so professional on busy Saturday afternoons. it’s nice to see young people who want to work and do a good job, and love their job, unlike others at the store like Tina, who works the produce dept. she is very standoffish and not helpful at all.

I visited the store for the first time with my boyfriend this past Saturday to grab a few items for Easter and I was looking for a market that sold Calder dairy products. The store looked nice but I was really disappointed. When I opened the butter it was completely moldy. The other items were fine but when I was taking pics I noticed the date on the butter was from January. It was partly my fault for not double checking but January? We’re now in April! I was disgusted and mad to be out $14 US. I’m from Windsor so it’s not like I can go back and return it. To other consumers - please check dates before buying and To the store staff - Please check the other Calder butters and remove the expired ones from the shelves. I know my experience wasn’t great but I would say overall the store was nice, the staff was friendly, we tried a bit of everything bread, dairy, meat, beverages, desserts, and even bought a nice Easter flower arrangement for my bf’s mom. I’ll add a picture of that as well to at least end on a positive note.

We love this place. They carry so many cool unusual products. Their deli is fantastic. The people working there are so incredibly nice. We bought all kinds of desserts to try. Our favorite thing there is the Mexicali dip. It's amazing.

I always love stopping here. We get fresh meat to cure a few times a year and a recent purchase of steaks was fantastic. It's fun to see what things they have like vintage candy brands and specialty chocolate. I keep meaning to stop in and get fresh greenery each winter.

This place has superior bakery items, a delicious assortment of prepared foods as well as a fantastic selection of wine. The staff are very kind and helpful especially the sommelier, there hasn't been a wine she suggested that I didn't like.

Colasanti's is a true GEM of downtown Highland! We come in here a lot for "Grab & Go" lunches and dinners, but also for their wide (and unique) selection of meats, treats, and delicacies! The "ready to eat" sandwiches are amazing! My favorite is made with Boar's Head turkey, cheddar cheese, sliced green apples, and an unbelievable honey mustard glaze on cinnamon swirl bread! And their daily, ever-changing selection of about 10 soups and chilis are always delicious and fun to try out. They have other sandwich and wrap options readily available, too, plus mini tubs of pasta salad, potato salad, broccoli crunch salad, fresh fruit, and nuts with cheese, (just to name a few!)You can find all regular groceries here, but they specialize in local, gourmet, organic, and fancier foods. So! If you're passing through Highland, make sure to stop here and get some lunch! Wander through the greenhouse, pick up a sandwich or two, grab some local fresh-sliced pepper bacon, and don't pass up the bakery! Their donuts, cheesecake, cookies, breads, croissants, cannolis, and chocolates are to-die-for!!!

Place is kind of pricey so we don't go there a lot. But it is a wonderful place to go and get food and feed the ducks.

I was super stoked to come here. And my excitement was very quickly stollen from me by the rude employees. I brought in my service dog in training and was approached right as I entered. I was asked if she was even a service dog and when i said yes the woman disagreed and said my dog was wandering and service dogs don't do that...She was by my side the whole time and at most was pulling a little too hard. As I mentioned before, In training. I will not be supporting or coming back here because of the way I was treated. Really disappointed in society.

Best grocery store/plant store/bird zoo in SE Michigan!Highest quality foods, helpful staff, and a great selection of local flavors. Without a doubt my favorite place to grocery shop, especially in the summer. Kids love it too! Lots for them to do

Atmosphere just like a mom and pop grocery store. Unique items. If you see something you might buy pick it up because you probably won't see it the next time you are there wonderful meat counter, wines from all over world, hot soups, nine to choose from including lobster bisque,Tomato, french onion, and chicken noodle. It is a favorite for folks around here. Great veggies, maybe some you haven't seen in a while..Old soda pops you haven't seen recently. Lots of local items like jellies and jams, don't forget the sweets, yummy. You would am a native of this area but I only lived around this area for 3 years and myFirst visit was 2 weeks ago.
