This place has a ton of stuff that you wouldn't think they would. Before shopping anywhere else stop here first, chances are they will save you a long drive even on a Sunday at 2 pm.

Five Star Ace Hardware on Milford Rd in Highland will definitely have all of my business!!! I was running errands today and totally did not notice that I had dropped the contents of my wallet until Paul called me to say that they had some of my belongings and were keeping it safe for me until I could come in and get it. When I came back to the store to collect my things, not only was my license, wallet, and car insurance card there, but all of the cash (one hundred dollars!) that I was carrying was still there! The professionalism and kindness that Paul, Jason, and the other Ace Hardware workers showed was truly amazing. I’m not sure who actually found my things, but I’m just so happy that all of them were so honest in returning my belongings to me! Seriously– I did not expect the $100 to be returned and I would’ve been happy just to see my license and credit card again. I tried to give them some of the cash as a thank you, but they refused to take it, even though I really wanted them to keep it, because they saved me so much time and trouble!! This type of neighborliness, honesty, and kindness is so rare nowadays and I’m so happy to know that my local Ace Hardware is so full of it. I will definitely be going back for anything that I need. Please support this business and their amazing workers!! Five Stars for Five Star Ace Hardware!!!

Five star seems to always have what we need. In addition to a broad selection of plumbing, electrical, pool, and fastner supplies, Paul, Erin and the crew have a wealth of knowledge. They are worth the trip to Five Star.

These guys always know exactly what I’m looking for and where it is located. I ran in a couple minutes before closing and they were still happy to help me. Highly recommend.
