As a regular shopper at Market Fresh, I always appreciate the consistent quality and variety they offer. The rewards points system is a fantastic perk that makes my visits even more rewarding. I love how easy it is to find everything I need, whether it's from their full fresh deli, hot food selection, or the delicious bakery items.
I especially enjoy browsing the selection of Michigan-made products available along the checkout aisles. However, I do feel they could enhance the shopping experience by adding self-checkout options to make things a bit quicker.
During my most recent visit, I was looking to supplement my sides for our Monday meal. I grabbed their teriyaki salmon, which is always a hit! It paired perfectly with green beans, mac & cheese, and a mouthwatering dinner roll from Mookies Beans and Greens. Everything was absolutely delicious!
Overall, Market Fresh continues to be one of my go-to grocery store. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality food and great service!”

“The best fresh produce in Ferndale. The meat counter simply can't be beat. I dislike the redesign that brought all the prepacked items and that almost forces you to only use the self check out. I don't work there; if I have to check myself out and bag everything I should get a discount! It takes away the friendly faces and personalization of a community market.”

“This market is OK prices are a little high which is to be expected it’s good if you just need to grab some basic fruit and vegetables like a quick In-N-Out as the store is a little bit smaller compared to the other locations, I would still recommend coming here if you just want to get in and get out of the store while still getting fresh fruits and vegetables instead of grocery store quality”

“Love this fruit and veggie market! Clean and well stocked. Always good selection.
My only criticism is Paige the cashier needs to understand that she is being paid to be there and to not treat her customers as an inconvenience. She got frustrated they she had to put her phone away to help me and was rolling her eyes at me throughout the interaction.”

“Great options of groceries, fish, meat and chicken. Customer service is very good with reasonable prices. Best of all is, all products are Halal (kosher). Everything is very nicely organized and easy to find. Very clean store”
“The meat section needs more attention because there are chicken liver plates that contain chicken hearts that are eye-catching, with special plates of chicken hearts next to them!!!!,
Another note: Most of the goods do not have prices and you are confused whether to take one or more pieces!!!!!”

“Just a small neighborhood store that stocks basic items.One plus is that they had paper goods available when the larger chains were completely out.One minus is the lack of pharmacutical items like sleep aids, vitamins or cold medicines.”

“So they open at 5 am dont know the closing time, shipping or receiving entrance is by door 49 but no signs on the door or they will come knock on your door if you’re there in front of the shipping doir ,If you arrive late night there’s a overnight parking lot behind the building you can sleep there , no food no restrooms, easy parking but traffic is always on the road so be careful, 1 hour max to unload if they need your product or if they give you door right away other then that u might have to wait”
“If you have to deliver onions remove your bungee’s and straps before backing in that tight spot, at night it’s easier to pull in, good luck , the loader was alright although it would have been nice of him to remind the truck driver to do that before getting in ?”
