“So I am a mechanic by trade and letting someone else work on my car is hard to do LOL. But let me tell you I am going back if needed in the future.
My exhaust pipe clamp became lose and dropped my post cat pipe to the ground. I do not have a welder at my disposal today, so I had to take the car to be repaired.
First they were super pleasant on the phone. Next they had a spot and got me in the door as soon as I got there, guess I was lucky.
Upon arrival I was greeted by an eager gentleman who got right to it. Asked for my keys and my car was in the air in minutes. They brought me back to actually show me the two issues which were not exaggerated. They made true statements. Told me the price right there while under the car.
Whole job in my case took about 45 minutes.
If I ever have something come up I will be going coming back here.”
“First impressions mean everything to me, and my first experience at Skips was great. I’m not sure if I spoke with the owner or manager, but both employees were very nice and greeted me warmly. I explained that I had just bought a cash car and wasn’t feeling too confident about it because my heater had stopped working.
Instead of brushing me off or guessing, he told me to just keep a positive mindset and bring the car in so he could personally check it out. I appreciated that he didn’t try to take advantage of me or make me feel like just another number. The vibe I got was genuine—like he actually cared about making sure I was taken care of.

And suddenly comes the moment that you have to get someone, who will resolve a mechanical problem with your car…
If you run into bad people and they recognize your ignorance, they will feel free to manipulate you and cheat on you (such common these days)!
Then the most important thing is to find someone trustworthy and honest, someone who will do it for you the same way - no difference - the big genius or ignorant you are…
And I found such place! Classic Automotive Repair in Sterling Heights!!!
All those guys - in customer service - Gus and Steve, all their mechanics - are like from exemplary, excellent book story.
They are very knowledgeable, but considerate, tactful, modest and very professional and friendly at the same time!
They create the atmosphere like you are among friends or family members. They explain to you all meander around your vehicle in the way that everyone can understand! There is no even one second that you could think that they want just get money from you and make business on your misfortune!
All those guys are presenting the highest skills in aspects of professional knowledge and also difficult dealing with disoriented individuals like me! Their honesty was many times evaluated and confirmed many, many times!
It’s not a coincidence that they are in business 36 years!

“First thing, I want to thank, JR, Rich and the entire team of skilled professionals at ARROW truck.
I took my truck for a simple RE- PHASING of one yoke in the driveline, because of a vibration.
The problem, turns was not as simple as I thought. The team of professionals, showed me every legitimate causes of the vibration.
First of, this is a MACK drive train, and parts are not easy to get. Darrel got the Mack part before 10:30 am next day, unlike the dealer.
Before noon next day, the truck was finished.
Quality control by JR and 2 team members was thoroughly went over for more than an hour.
Nobody in the truck service business does quality control. This was a first FOR ME.

“About a month ago, I was visiting Detroit from Canada when my car suddenly just cut off and stopped working right in the middle of the road, The car would not start, the power steering would not work, and the gas pedal was hard as a rock. The next day, which happened to be a Sunday, we found Moe Town Auto through Google search and surprisingly Moe picked up the phone, assured me that he would diagnose the problem for free, and even gave me suggestions for tow companies. Within 5 minutes of getting my car towed to his shop, Moe assured me that I will drive my car that same day! Again, mind you, this was on a Sunday! Right in front of me, he figured out that it was my fuel injector that was gone. He ordered the parts, offered me snacks, and had the car good to go within 3 hours. This man knows his stuff and has an amazing personality to boot. If you ever need a mechanic in the Detroit area or you find yourself in a bind like I did, trust me, Moe Town Auto is the only place you should go.”

“Short version: excellent service, kind, honest, very fair and fast. Can you ask for more ?
Longer version - woke up, went to run out for something and my brake light came on. Worst case scenario right? It's Sunday and our other vehicle overheated on Thursday- I desperately needed a working, safe, reliable vehicle for this upcoming week. This was not the first shop I called but he was the only one who sounded like he cared and he told me to come down. 5 minutes after I arrived my car was on the lift and he was showing me exactly what was wrong. He explained to me what he was going to replace and what didn't need it. While he took a call I googled how much it would cost for a part $80 ( I actually have to do this because as a woman I like to know what's reasonable to pay without labor.) He told me he had the part and could fix it today- for $180. Guys. It's Sunday. He could have said any number he wanted to me, but he was reasonable and honest. It's hard when your dad isn't here to trust anything anyone says( my dad builds cars and taught me the Google trick) about what I need, but I knew he wasn't charging me more than was fair. This man is an excellent businessman because he has a new loyal customer in us.
He turned what could have been a nightmare situation/ day for myself and my family- an actual hardship- to a pleasant day that left both myself and my husband with a good feeling - and a safe car to drive!”
