While staying overnight in Hart, we saw Dave's Party Store advertising in our hotel room. When the phone number didn't work, we went to the store in person. The store itself is dingy and old. Very cramped, but the staff was friendly. We ordered pizza, chicken wings and cheese sticks. The food was prepared quickly and we brought it back to our room. Pizza was a bit greasy, but the kids liked it. Chicken and cheese sticks were yummy. I would order from them again. Recommend for late night.

Of course I read the reviews here first (habit), mostly because it's rare to find anywhere that does actual broasted chicken and after confirming they in-fact did The family started to buzz, Grampa told us about how how the process is having it deep-fried and pressure cooked at the same time. Now the rest of us know why hes always loved this kind of chicken he's talked about so much. To get to what's important it was in fact phenomenal chicken. We had a bit of a ride and at the risk of the chicken losing it's unique airy crunch we untied our plastic bags the chicken boxes were in once we got to the car. Not sure if it actually made the magical difference but the chicken was all around perfect. Other things I might note is that the staff was great the person who seemed to be in charge of operating Dave's was very hospitable I believe his name was flower and he did everything he could to get our large order together including the onion rings jalapeño poppers deep-fried mushrooms and potato wedges which might I add were all also great. Although my mom did have one fluke potato wedge but if there's anything that we would even be able to complain about that alone was it. so I thought that it was worth mentioning. To give a full review I might also add That while checking out the rest of the daves crew made you feel at home too, welcoming, polite & helpful. I think it may have been an Alex and a Julie? Either way just refreshing not saying other reviewer's may be wrong butif you like broasted chicken and some other deep-fried feel good food, Id say Dave's might be a good place to check out

Seems like "DAVE" doesn't want people ordering anything off the menu besides a twelve piece chicken or a pizza. I offered food that accumulated to more than asking price of what a 12 inch pizza or twelve piece chicken would cost. Apparently, they don't like making money at this establishment. And to top it off, the hotel I stayed in had an advertisement for food and beer delivered to your room! So I guess they're losing business from out of town guests. I was going to spend $20 worth of food! When what they asked for was $12! David, learn to use a calculator and please don't be stingy with your advertisements!

Last Thursday (5/31/18) we purchased your large pizza special as always (3 items). We also purchase 2 pizzas, sometimes 3. The flavor was there, but the pizza's were considerably lighter as the topings was quite absent in presence. You have cut back on the toppings, but kept the price the same. Either you have a new person preparing the pizza/food, or someone that dosen't care about what they are doing. Your pizza's are good, this is what draws us to your store, but there are other good pizza places that are consistant in food preparation. Please consider what I/we are saying. Your stores staff is quite respectful and helpful, so is our loyalty. Thank you for your time. Regards Dave

Not that this place is the best I party store history but it's my favorite place to go in terms of getting snacks and drinks. I thought that it was a little weird like not a typical gas station and every time I went in I found that they didn't have the drink I wanted so I asked the cashier if they had it and sure enough the lady disappeared into the back and moments later she comes walking out with my favorite pop, ice cold

Dave's Party Store is more then just a convenience store and gas station, it's great takeout and a local hotspot. You can get anything you would ever want for a party or even just a night in. The cheese sticks are the bomb!

There ain't much to choose from in Hart Michigan but Dave's Party Store provides a pretty interesting local touch. It's basically a gas station/convenience store that also provides some fried foods and pizza on the side. For some reason their pizza isn't typical gas station pizza. They assemble it on site and cook it in these small ovens. I ordered the Sausage and Mushroom with extra cheese. It was surprisingly good and filling. Not gourmet but certainly not gas station pap either. They also deliver to local restaruants. Parking lot full of local kids trying to be cool in a dorky sort of way. It was kind of a fun touch to rural Michigan.

You can pick up booze (beer, wine, and liquor), cigarettes, and solid fried chicken. You can pick up ice, junk food, and other party store items here. If you want to avoid getting gas at BP you can go here to fill up. The staff is friendly, nothing fancy but a solid options for drinks and snacks.

Dave's is two blocks off of State Street, the main drag through Hart. It's a small, crowded convenience store that sells beer and gasoline. I remember their marquee once advertised "PENIS $4.99/lb". As a 10-year-old I thought that was the greatest prank in the history of the world.
