The shipping department, or order fulfillment department leaves a lot to be desired. I ordered a part on a Thursday afternoon with priority shipping and a note that I needed this sent out ASAP but still could not get it in the mail till Monday afternoon. Which means it will not get to me before I leave on Wednesday morning. Very dissatisfied customer I do not recommend if you are in a hurry.

Tim I want to give you a shout out for the extra mile you put in for your customers.So I called Tim and I was likeI'm gonna be there 10 mins past closing time and I'm coming from 3 hours awaySo my guy Tim lets me make my order over the phone and placed them in a combination box so I could get my part. Not only that but he went over the differences to ensure I was getting the proper throw out clutch fork base off casing numbers and identifying features of the transmission.Thanks again TimYour a phenomenal guy

Appletree is a great place to buy VW parts as well as parts for a VW buggy. They have just about everything you’d need to restore either and most items are good quality. The real gem for appletree though is it’s extremely fast shipping. So long as you order during the work day there, you can expect your order to be shipped same day. I lived just one state over and would consistently receive my packages in just 2 days. Several instances that I had questions regarding products were answer by the staff there and any time a staff member couldn’t answer the question, they’d be able to get the answer from whom I’ve assumed is the owner who is knowledgeable. I only gave it 4 stars due to some of the products being sold being ridiculously overpriced. The universal turn signal switch for example, after ordering one from appletree, I looked on Amazon and found the exact same thing for literally half of the price. You might think “well it’s just better quality” but it was not. It was plastic just as the Amazon one would’ve been. It’s really my only complaint and other than that I would highly recommend this business to anyone looking for parts for their older VWs.

Ordered a new front beam from them. It's suppose to be a take off. I am going to assume that is the case but it did ship with no box and in a bag that had stickers on it from Brazil and one of the grease fittings was broken. By far the least expensive rebuilt beam so it meets expectations. Shipping was extremely fast and included, so it gets 4/5 from me.

Order an exhaust for à client 1968 bettle. After à few days,I received e-mail informing us the item is back Order and was never available to begin with; And it be a long time before they can get them in stock. Fortunately they cancel the order. I go back on Amazon and they are still selling the same exhaust, claiming to have several in stock. Just like when I Order it à week ago. Very deceitful and dishonest. Now I have to make my client wait for Jbugs.com to actually shipp theexhaust we need!Not how we like to do business !!

Parts arrived in damaged package, not the shipping package but the contests inside the inner box, meaning the damage was from their end. Part arrived clearly used, worn, and missing hardware.
