Hot water was out few days I wasn’t sure why. My first call to the office no one responded or repaired , I called a few days later and submitted request through rent cafe and hot water tank was ordered and replaced in 2 days.

Marquette Management/The Haven are Dope?,my GDad nd I have enjoyed this campus (through afew different managements lol) for 29 years now. The Amenities now are ? nd the units are more modern nd stylishly laid out,we mite transfer to one of those units soon?would be awesome! Safe to say we are the longest/oldest tenants on campus currently. ?

Maintenance is terrible. They take atleast 2 weeks to come see about your maintenance request. By the time they contacted me to fix my sink I had hired someone else to fix it for me.

I usually don't complain but I live here for the last 20 years the first 10 years I never had a problem anything needed to be fixed they had on men and things like questions plumbers I don't know where they're getting their maintenance it must weed heads or alcoholics because I've never seen this the reason why I moved here was due to my husband's disability and my disability because we couldn't cut the grass or shovel the snow not on the other hand if you have a problem they will use the most dumbest excuses which they should change some of these tubs and sinks is basically old as I am and Trust and Believe I'm older now the bathroom ceiling have been leaking do you know those idiots how to say it was my fault when does water go up water comes down I told him it had to be upstairs due to the bathtub they came and they fixed it sanded it it looked at Picture Perfect now again I have more going around and it's cracking all over again but you know when I moved here it was another persuasion living out here just saying you have to pay the water bill but we have no water meter we got to pay for trash pickup but maintenance uses a garbage cans as well how much are they paying for trash pickup we have to pay the water bill they said every 3 months it goes up who does it go up to are we paying the water bill for the whole complex they say is due to how many people well it's me okay I like I said I have disabilities so I'm not able to take a bath or shower without someone helping me I wash up please maybe twice in a day because I'm falling in my bathroom because I can't stand that long but yet my water bill I don't eat out of regular dishes I eat out of paper plates so I guess I wash my paper plates cuz I'm trying to save a penny I'm just putting anybody that's interesting and then running from haven at Grosse Pointe Apartments on 8 Mile I don't think they're paying any money I think all the tenants here we're paying water bill we got to pay our own gas bill light bill the trash pickup sewage bill and liability insurance we have to get $100,000 policy but I don't drive a car and I don't have a doggy well my thing is I'm being pimped and I think at the haven at Grosse Pointe Apartments should be ashamed of themselves cuz they are the biggest Liars and I'm not ashamed of saying who I am my name is Lenore Ellis a 20-year resident thank you very much PS the joke of all they put a gate up and I use a cane I can't even come down the steps because they put it down at the walkway I don't I can walk on the walkway I can't come up the steps down the steps the biggest joke
Edit: Yeah here i go again I'm not a complainer but much rent that I paid a water bill with no water meter trash pickup living in an apartment complex with things get damaged like my bathroom ceiling. In February they sent me a letter saying that I need liability insurance for 300,000 when it was only 100,000. If they took care of her apartment like to take care of the front Lawn and maybe this will be a decent place to live the rent is too high to have all these problems and the workers are liars they'll tell a lie in a minute I am on a fixed income and I will move but I'm caught between a rock and a hard place I know what the agenda is for some strange reason they think that this new factory. New tenants going to say they will not show you the apartment that you're going to get so you'll see all the problems once they've taken your money I've been here 21 years and I've never seen open this run like this here upset senior citizen misgiving no respect that we had a light outage due to a wind damage so Sunday when you got the mail saying I didn't pay my rent on the 3rd no money we didn't have any lights Wednesday and Thursday how can you spit out a letter in your office was closed they got the wrong senior cuz I'm not stuck on stupid and if you move to this complex you

The staff/maintenance are awesome and I love my apartment but everything you hate about apartment living, I have experienced in one month. Rent is too high to be uncomfortable. People fighting, building smells, dirty walls, raggedy doors, kids yelling and screaming. It’s too much for a person that Work from home. I hate complaining but have been since I moved in.

TYSM for replacing my sink and cabinet in my 2nd bathroom, in my main bedroom (6 years of not working and it was rusted.
The problem is, my toilet no longer flush, I think the water was cut off, and never turned back on, so I haven't had use of that toilet since 2-27-24, and I put in a work order on Friday 3-1-24.
Also, the new sein that was put in, the cold water doesn't work (the right faucet), and only cold water comes out of the hot faucet. So I think it needs to be fine tune.
The young man, Frank, who did the repairs, was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. TYSM
