This Kroger doesn't always have what is needed in the organic produce section. There have been several times that they were missing kale, purple kale, beets, Swiss chard, etc... I'm not sure who runs the that department, but the Kroger in St. Clair Shores & Grosse Pointe Woods carry these organic products consistently. I've gone to the service department and had to wait an awful long time. Again, this isn't an issue at their neighboring stores. Better management is needed. I'm fine with going where I know I'll find what I'm looking for.

I'm commenting on the Kroger at Old Eight Mile Road and Harper Avenue in Harper Woods. It's a relatively small store compared with other Kroger stores within a two mile radius. It does have everything necessary for a family to get through a week of meals. Someone who hasn't shopped a Kroger Super Store probably will not notice the store's smaller set list. I and my family do buy Kroger branded items, and Private Selection brands a great deal. Decent amount of choices at the deli and fish counter. More than enough fresh cut beef chicken and pork in the meat cases. And the vendor packaged lunch and dinner racks are always nicely stocked. Produce department has always gotten employee attention anytime I visit so I buy with confidence here. All the coolers in the store have been updated within the past 15 months or so. Won't comment on the grocery aisles; seem typical to me.

This local Kroger is the best for everyday goods. I have never found it too crowded to get in and out pretty quickly. The employees are helpful. On occasion, they are super-friendly and a pleasure to work with. I find the customers are friendly, too.The fruit and veggie section is always clean and fresh. The store is generally well-stocked. Being a smaller Kroger, there are unusual groceries they don't carry, so go to the larger Kroger up a mile away.My only complaint is that the can/bottle recycling center gets very grimey, and I tend not to want to even approach that room.

Pretty well stocked most of the time. The worst issue is the pharmacy employees especially Tamara. Can't say enough about her unprofessional nasty attitude. She really doesn't want to help customers. Especially senior citizens!!!!

Big huge Kroger store. Only 1 cashier with 8 cashier asides open and no cashiers. Store has a dozen self serve cashier stations. Service is very bad there. Not enough cashiers. Takes forever to get a cashier who are so slow

The store in St. Clair Shores off of I-94 is also unkept, smell like old fish and is nasty.

Swung by to pickup milk while driving back from Detroit. It's your typical neighborhood grocery store. I used the self checkout, which moved fast. The best thing is this location didn't hire a security guard masturbating in the parking lot like the 13 mile road location.

We like going to the store for a grocery runs. It would be nice though if the deli was open so we could get some sliced meat that we preferred. The checkout lines were no problem.

My favorite Kroger. Reasonable size store and has everything the big stores have except Starbucks. It is neat and well stocked. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and the customers are too. The pharmacy does an excellent job and are personable. I sure hope this store stays open!

First off I've waited for some time to leave a review , but after multiple times with using this Kroger's deli, I must post one. The workers aren't rude but they're not friendly at all, in fact half the time they try to avoid you. Now, keep in mind I'm not speaking on the workers who may be working on an order already, those instances make since for not making eye contact. I applaud the ones who let you know they're already working on an order. However, many times I've been to this Kroger and I will wait a few minutes after the workers have chatted and put their gloves on as slowly as possible until they finally want to ask me what I need. Now I always ask for very thin sliced meat and cheese. And I speak up and annunciate it perfectly yet for some reason the younger girls with the attitude constantly give me super thick sliced meat and cheese. Like it's so thick that it's not even listed on the photo for how thin one wants their meat. This is my sixth time dealing with this exact situation. Maybe I need to be that customer who asks for a manager so I can make an example out of the lazy ones with attitudes. I don't get it, I'm very friendly but this is just uncalled for. You'll find my thick thick salami in the cold salads section because your young lady with her braids in a bun refused to give me thinly sliced salami yesterday. I kept the other meat and cheese because my kids will eat it. It's just sad when you have someone who works in customer service not take pride in their job nor care to listen to the customer's requests.

Our local Kroger has a number of cashiers I like dealing with. The newer hired stock personnel is not very friendly or helpful. The thing that really bothers me is that this store, in the upscale community of Grosse Pointe, has the worst bottle return machines I have seen anywhere. Not only are they dirty and old, they are closed more than they are open. It makes me very angry with the store to pack up the bags of returns and get to the door, just to find out the area is closed.

This is about the 20th complaint I've lodged about this store I've sent pictures and emails but it just keeps getting better. I just left the store and was checked out by Janice a woman so rude, so unfriendly towards the people in line, but the minute the bag and girl walked up she started talking to her and ignored us. You need new employees! Most of the people you have working there are garbage and are treating the customers like crap I just watched your deli counter people get in an argument with a customer, what happened to the customer is always right. You have a girl named Marcy who is fantastic and a young man named Max who is great and I'm sure there's a few others that are really good employees and nice people but a majority of the people you've hired are just horrible rude and nasty and if I were to guess I'd probably say a little racist. I've lived in this area my whole life and have been shopping here since it was a farmer jacks and you have managed to make it worse

My family and I have shopped at this Kroger almost two decades and have yet to be let down. They always have everything we need and are always eager to aid us in all of our needs. The staff is incredibly kind and the store is very clean. Never disappoints
