We were visitors in town and felt sick, thought we should test for COVID. the test kits here are almost double what the small pharmacy in our town charges. I understand the need to make a profit but you hardly serve your community if you make prevention and safety so costly people chose to do without. Preventing the spread is COVID is a service, not a money maker.

Least favorite pharmacy, denied the opportunity to return an item because it was 2 days past the 7 day return deadline which was not stated anywhere on my receipt. Rules are rules, no exceptions, no store credit options and this was the store owner I was talking with. Literally no customer service vibe from this store. Will not be shopping here again

Kelbel pharmacy is my least favorite pharmacy in northern Michigan. The behavior towards me was very distasteful. I was approached in the store and told I had to purchase a nail polish that I twisted the cap off of to look at the color. The woman who approached me had a very poor attitude and talked down to me. I gave this pharmacy 4 tries and each time I walked in it was an unpleasant experience, a rather dark and gloomy atmosphere from employees as you walk in.

An old-fashioned apothecary with a wide variety of goods, too bad the woman behind the counter felt the need to watch us like a hawk. Will never return to a place that made it so obvious that the customer was perceived to be a potential criminal.

Absolutely love this pharmacy. I know it's an odd thing to love a pharmacy but they have been so incredibly kind and helpful. We were using one of the big pharmacy chains and were treated like criminals when my husband needed pain meds. We switched to Kelbel and have never looked back. They were simply amazing when my husband was going through cancer treatment. They have quick medication turn around and very friendly staff. I highly recommend cutting the cord from the big pharmacies, you have no idea how much more helpful these folks who actually care about their patients are.
