Never again. We use to come up annually for our 4th of July trip. This past 4th of July was nothing but problems. Dogs running around, one almost attacked my daughter and the other was in our room, and when I got upset, I was the problem? But not the guest with her dogs running free and not under control. Also we book the SAME room every year and for some reason they made a mistake even though I always call when we’re an hour away to make sure our reservation is good and the room number is correct, not sure what happened this past year within an hour, because we got no explanation.

Rooms are really clean, decent size! There is NO deadbolt on the door, only lock is a door knob lock. It’s a safe town, but it still would be great to have an actual lock. The bed is not that great, super soft and way dished in the middle. Staff were really nice! Close to the beach and down town, perfect!

This is not the Ritz. But it IS VERY clean. One of the cleanest motel or hotel I have ever stayed at. The rooms are dated and a little frayed on the edges. But the beds were fairly comfortable and the shower had good pressure. Quiet at night but LOUD in the morning. Do not plan to linger in bed in the morning--lots of talking, door slamming, etc. from the people working there. It's also weird--I booked the room with 2 queen beds and they wanted to charge me for 4 people. Took some explaining that we were 2 people and wanted separate beds. But there was little choice for places to stay in the area and this suited us just fine.

Excellent hotel. I came in off season and had a great stay here. The rooms were super cozy, quiet and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful at every encounter. I’ll be staying again.

I LOVE this place! My fiance and I went on just a small weekend getaway for the New Year and we we're met with amazing kindness and a peaceful environment. It has a very homey feel. ♥️

Our stay last night was excellent. First of all one of the few places that let our 11 year old boxer stay with us he is like our son. Very clean , exactly what you would expect from an older motel but everything we needed. Cable TV, microwave , refrigerator. Carl the owner was extremely pleasant and for sure definitely an old soul. I would stay again no question.

We booked through Expedia. The only additional charges were for early check in or late check in, neither of which was an issue for us. We booked a 2 queen room for three people because my husband and I share a bed and my brother, who travels with us, has a bed. We were still charged an additional fee for a third person like we were trying to sneak him in. We did NOT request a cot. We were also charged an additional fee for staying on a weekend. WHAT???? We travel often and I’ve never even heard of that. I spoke to an Expedia rep and they said none of that is in their policy (between them and the hotel). Why did we stay? Because we had spent the day kayaking and were hours from home so we felt kind of trapped. The room was dusty and musty. There were damp towels on the back of the bathroom door. The bathroom door stuck. The toilet in room three leans because the floor is rotting. It was an awful experience. The owner was very unnerving and I will make sure to warn people about staying here anywhere I can.

I stayed over the weekend aug 13th thru Aug 15th.I really like the place .Quiet close to everything.I liked you could sit outside at a table.And windows openned up.The door has a screen fresh air.Cute town.Might be back someday.

Checked in late for a brief overnight. Owner was grumpy, understandable. Room was icky. There was an unmentionable, crusty stain on the blanket. Would stay again if I had my own bedding, but yeah a little icky.
