23105 Coolidge Hwy, Oak Park“The store is always filled to the brim with a plethora of selections of clothing, shoes and housewares. Always my go-to spot for even last minute thrifting. The staff is helpful and friendly.”
10:30AM - 5:30PM
11526 E 10 Mile Rd, Warren“Byron's resale shop is absolutely without a doubt the cleanest resale shop I have ever visited. Byron himself is a class act, top shelf stand up guy and is not afraid of a good haggle on prices. Go see !!”
“Heck yeah!!! These guys know what they're doing. I have been looking and looking for a good quality, form fitting dress. I found not one, but two well maintained, almost new, dresses that I can feel good about wearing. Not because they look good, but because I'm not buying a cheaply made, thin fabric, poor fitting dress from a chain or corporation, but something of good quality from an organization that takes care of their shop and is down to earth.”
“I donated some books and decided to go in and check out their selection. I ended up leaving with 4 books (1 that I was THIS close to buying on amazon that very morning. Had it in my basket and everything. I walk in and boom first book I see was it in perfect condition for half the price. I was shocked). The setup is nice, genres labeled. Large selection. Library vibes but you get to keep the book. Staff is very friendly, informative, and ready to help with any book need you may have. They know customers names, it was cool to hear as I browsed; the togetherness. I’m now a frequent guest and highly recommend you become one too!”
“Very nice people and a pretty good selection. Prices were good for what the items were. Not much in the way of children's clothing, shoes, or toys. But a pretty generous selection of both men's, women's, purses, and women's shoes. I didn't see much men's shoes. Some linens and home items. Very limited hours so make sure they are open before you go. I would absolutely go back.”
“Honestly, we must have driven past thousands of times and just stopped in on a prayer today. It is such a lovely shop! Super clean, super organized, and very fun to shop in! The owners were great. It's definitely not a "rummage through a bunch of junk to find a diamond for a dollar" thrift store - and while I appreciate that style of thrifting for fun... this was a great place for what we needed today-unique and QUALITY clothing for a special event on a time crunch. I'll be back- and am excited to shop the sections I didn't get to today.”
“Hiptique is your number one resale destination because the owner Nikki is an amazing human being. Who really cares about your happiness. She has a keen instinct for styling clients and an eye for upcoming trends.”
“Hey guys dropping in for some QTNA, I just spoke with Tania and she was so helpful! Yes, Detroit Closet does buy shoes, clothes and accessories from 1-3pm on weekends. On weekdays it depends on how long they will buy but it’s based off their budget for the day. They open at 12 noon and close around 6pm. Hope this helps bc it helped me!”

3015 N Main St, Royal Oak“Beautiful church building. A delightful church family if you’re searching. A formidable brass band playing for the glory of the Lord. Great weekday programs for both kids and adults.”
“The staff are always friendly and welcoming, they always have sales on top of sales, and many of my favorite shoes, shirts and pants come from this place. Definitely my favorite thrift store to date!”
10AM - 8PM
28720 N Stephenson Hwy, Madison Heights“We visited in hopes of finding furniture but there weren't many pieces we were interested in. The Vincent de Paul thrift store back home was huge. This one is a much smaller location.Donations drop offs are easy though! Drive up, put your stuff in a bin and you're done! Not sure if donation receipts are offered as there wasn't anyone manning the donation area.”
“Beautiful store, lovely people working here. This shop has some real gems, and new items all the time. Clothes, home goods, books, toys...from vintage to brand new. One of the best resale shops around.Terrific items, great deals, and all proceeds going to great causes. Win-win-win. Thanks, New to You.”
10AM - 8PM
26740 Dequindre Rd, Warren“We recently moved to the area and were in need of furniture and household goods as we left most of our large stuff behind. They were having a holiday sale on their furniture. I found quite a few pieces charming. There was a super helpful employee that let us know about the sale and delivery options. He also informed us that they were picking up more furniture that day and it would be out the following Tuesday. The prices were great. The staff was friendly. And they do have quite a bit of furniture, clothing and other household items.”
9AM - 8PM
25152 Van Dyke Ave, Center Line“I have purchased clothing for myself, my 2 children and my husband from the Salvation Army for over 20 years. Our son, now nearly 20, will only shop at Salvation Army for his own clothes. Daughter, just over 21, only shops retail. She then gets depressed when she sees the same items at Salvation Army a few months (or a year) later! My 4 favorite Salvation Army stores are the one on Van Dyke in Centerline, the one on Dodge Park in Sterling Heights, the one on Gratiot in Roseville and the one on Harper and 13 Mile in St Clair Shores. They are close to my house and well taken care of. They are always clean. I prefer buying second hand items. It saves the landfills for awhile.”
“Their customer service over the phone was welcoming and helpful. Other thrift store in the area were not so kind. Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions. It goes a long way and makes the customer really want to make the trip over to your location.”
10AM - 9PM
24900 Kelly Rd, Eastpointe“This is the *good* value world, to me. I'm hesitant to hype it up too much because I don't want clothes shopping competition, haha. If you're alt and like DIY, or if you're plus sized, this has the superior selection for all of that. I've never not found exactly what I'm looking for here.”
“I can not experience this store in person yet. I can... But I just want to tell u because I'll make this part of my experience I can not talk to anyone over the phone. The number is not in service is says. I hope you can fix this. I'd like to ask you a question now, and maybe in the future. Peace”
10AM - 8PM
5858 Vernor Hwy, Detroit“I come here mostly every week and everyone is so nice and the prices are good. The cashiers are always so nice and make small talk and the clothes is so good. I always like to find baggy pants or just good jeans in general and they always have them! Expect i cant really good shirts but it’s still so good.”
10AM - 9PM
22130 Coolidge Hwy, Oak Park“This is the second Value World I have visited. I usually enjoy thrifting but this is one of those places where you need to be mentally and physically prepared to dig through everything since their stores are so packed. The prices are okay. I had a digital $5 coupon since I signed up for their texts. I put it toward a scarf for our toddler. The cashier wasn't overly friendly and didn't seem to be thrilled to be there but she did get us out expeditiously.”

22005 Van Dyke Ave, Warren“Every time I go the staff are really nice to me! Some times they even negotiate the prices. The store is pretty much clean and they have good stuff that you can use for your diy projects. Go and check them out for yourself!Happy shopping!”
“Love this store pretty much has everything I wanted and more .. wish I had more time to go through the entire store but I will definitely come back and the cashiers are so sweet and friendly.. Kevin was so accommodating and helpful. The only thing I wish they had done was place somewhat of a fitting room ! I am disabled so it was difficult for me to change in front of the only other mirror by the employee door where I was standing in the way and blocking their way to the door. Trying things on is exhausting and not having actual place to try it on and sit down makes it even more difficult..I’m not sure why there is no fitting room but it would be an easy fix if you guys take that into consideration with some simple steps like adding curtains and mirrors attached in a corner with some benches but if not that’s fine too I guess .”
9AM - 9PM
114 E 4th St, Royal Oak“I was at your store on Wednesday for the very first time. Not only did I find a cart full of beautiful items that were fairly priced but the people working were so nice! There was a gentleman there on his first day on the floor and he made sure I got the help I needed even when he didn’t know the answer to my question. He was learning to do displays and was doing a fantastic job. There was also a very sweet lady with brightly colored hair that was super friendly. It was refreshing to find a store that was clean and organized with good merchandise and an even better staff!”
“I really like this store my family has been giving away our old clothes to this thift store since I has a kid and it's great to give the things we don't need anymore to people who will so this store is good for that”
“Lots of old clothes, movies, games, electronics, and toys all at affordable prices! I really enjoy finding lots of old gaming equipment and rare toys that I can't find elsewhere.”
“I come here about once a week to check out what's new. There are always lots of great finds if you look hard. I've gotten great Pyrex containers, Christmas trees, furniture, washer & dryers, and clothes. They have daily deals, like Tuesdays are typically $1 clothes. During the weekends they often do 50% off everything. The service is nice and everyone that works there is very helpful. They also do deliver for a delivery fee”
