I can't recommend Dr. Alawneh, my first time seeing him I had an upper respiratory infection and he immediately told me I had asthma and COPD without any tests. I have never had any major problems prior. I was prescribed Prednisone and an Albuterol inhaler. After a few days I was normal again. About 6 months later I came back in for an ear infection and was prescribed another dose of Prednisone this time way more than anyone my weight should have. Along with augmentin. 2 days later I was having problems with my heart beating like I was running a marathon when sitting watching TV. I called the urgent care the next day, I went in and they ran an EKG and I was immediately sent to the ER in Ann arbor, I was A-fib with rvr. There they asked what I was taking I told them about the Prednisone and high dosage. They ended up running tests and flushed me out with 2 IV bags. After they gave me metaprolol tartate my heart got semi-normal. I've had anxiety attacks in the past but nothing like this. I was told to follow-up with my primary care I was skeptical to see him again. When I went back in after 5 days I told him what happened and that I was having a hard time sleeping. He then prescribed me 2 different antidepressants one of with reacts with the metaprolol. I didn't take either one. I then saw my cardiologist and she told me no antidepressants. FYI I have never had any heart problems before coming here, nothing hereditary. I'm trying to find a different primary care because he lost my trust.

So sad to hear that Dr. Alawneh is moving to the Domino Farms location. I recently moved to Howell and it is a bit of. a drive to go to that office. However it will be worth it since he is the best primary care doctor I have had. He is always polite and respectful. He is very thorough. He listens intently to concerns. He immediately submits orders for prescriptions, referrals, etc. I have always been able to get a timely appointment and I never have to wait long for him to get to the exam room. I highly recommend both Dr Alawneh and his assistant Darryl!

I have been a patient of this practice for about 4 years. I have had 3 PCPs because they keep leaving. They wrote an incorrect prescription (it should be in my chart that I can't take that formula) and I have called 5 times trying to get it corrected, still hasn't been fixed. Completely unacceptable. Most staff have been kind and helpful, but I have also dealt with horrible attitudes and not getting my problem resolved. If zero stars was an option, that's what they'd get.

Dr. Walk and her assistant, Lindsey are the very best not only medical professionals but people. They are so good with people who have extreme anxiety and really do go the extra mile for their patients. I'd recommend Dr. Walk to anyone.

Moved to the area and wanted a new doctor. Finally found one that great reviews here, but was called a week before my appointment letting me know the doctor has a full panel, runs behind, and can be hard to get into see. However, they suggested another doctor who might be a "better fit" for me. The voicemail was a like 2 minute marketing campaign to see a doctor that I had not researched or scheduled an appointment with. Back to the drawing board after the incredibly weird pre-visit interaction.

This office should be sued for medical negligence. I was moved to be a patient o Melissa Sundermann. I am an intensive care RN in the pediatric cardiovascular center at Mott children’s hospital, therefore I am not without education or medical knowledge. For 2 years this physician and office has tried to treat me only virtually, but I am a working RN with patient contact daily on my job. How can she take vital signs, or listen to my heart or lungs to assess valve or pulmonary damage. When I list the medical problems I am having, she suggested I listen to videos about menopause. When annual labs were needed, she did not order labs to check thyroid function tests despite the fact that I am on medication for hypothyroidism and experiencing symptoms, nor did she order a cholesterol or lipid panel even though I am 53 years old, disturbed about weight gain, shortness of breath and with a history of asthma. I tested positive for Covid tonight at 11 pm. I called the office yesterday to warn them the I was exposed to a person who tested positive for Covid. This person is my same age, also has asthma, and here PCP called in a prescription for steroids, an inhaler, and PAXLOVID over the phone as soon as she tested positive. This office made me call the call center, wait 3 hours for a response after multiple periodic phone calls, only to tell me that there is no physician available to write prescriptions. Finally a physician called me to tell me he would not prescribe medication to help me despite reviewing my records and my obvious history of asthma. Meanwhile, I waited and became steadily sicker. The antiviral I am educated enough to know I need and qualify for would arrest this virus in my body, but for some reason this office will not order it… and wanted me to drive to the Emergency Room which is bursting at the seams with vulnerable elderly… to have my lungs auscultation… to confirm that yes, indeed I am congested, and my lung capacity is diminished. I called back to have my records transferred to another office or physician who would be PROACTIVE and treat my illness but was told I needed to COmE INTO the OFFICE to sign a release. It is Saturday. By Monday I may be dead, but since they advised me to go to the ER the nurse told me that they are ofc the hook and there is no recourse in the case that I suffer severe side effects from this Covid infection. I just read the reviews for this office… they have only 3 stars… that is very generous!!! Maybe they are fluffing the reviews themselves! If you value your life RUN RUN RUN RUN. This office will NOT help you!!!! You are wasting valuable time that could be used to receive actual treatment !!

Called and was placed for a 3pm appointment today. Arrived at 2:40p. Waited until 3:30p to be seen. The medical assistant saw me looking at my watch and asked why- I said I was supposed to be seen 30 minutes ago and she jumped at the opportunity to detract from taking my history to go into a big spiel about how she’s SO busy and sometimes people have to wait, like I’m a child. Unprofessional. I would have been satisfied to have been told the office is running behind today. I left and won’t be returning. Dr. Walk is great but Robin sucks.Edit: I was seen by a wonderful & competent staff a day later at the IHA at Dominos farms. I highly recommend that location. I was seen within 15 minutes and the staff was extremely professional.

Dont be sick or in pain when you go here because you will wait days for any kind of recognition or help from these people. Find another provider.

I would not recommend this office to anyone! They assume.. because some people don't take their medications as prescribed ..that no one does! They are wrong! Those of us who take their medications as prescribed are punished for those that don't. This office ..Dr's and staff are extremely rude judgmental and paranoid!! They have a way of making you feel less of a person and look down their noses at you with a holier then thou attitude. I have to remind myself every time I go in there that I am paying them for a service .. no different then a plumber or electrician! They make you feel just that bad...inside and out!
