Denise was extremely passive aggressive towards me for using the self checkout. Very uncomfortable, I won't be returning.

Pharmacy technician, a female not sure of her name is a completely rude person. Absolutely uncalled for to treat people like that. If you don’t want to work customer service then don’t work somewhere dealing with people. That’s your job especially when someone isn’t even being rude to you to begin with. There’s a difference in between being rude and kindly telling someone what they need to do to help the situation. Would never recommend this place. I didn’t even waste more of my time.

Rudest staff ever. Even tried to kill them with kindness and it made the service worse. Convinence is the only reason this place survives.

Might be the worst CVS ever for filling a prescription. If you’re in need of a reliable pharmacy, I’d stay away. I’d give zero stars if it was an option.

I switched to this location because of the construction on 23. I cannot believe how poor their customer service is on the phone and in person. So disappointing.

Regularly closes 30-45 minutes early. Went to grab some OTC meds the past two Sundays and the front door was locked with someone counting down the register at 9:15 PM and 9:30 PM when they advertise being open till 10:00 PM. Just a heads up to all.

There’s no friendliness here. I’ve been going to this pharmacy for about two years now since it’s close to me. But I will be going to the Ann Arbor cvs from now on… I’ve had employees roll their eyes at me. The wait times are long. And one employee in particular is aggressive. I’m willing to drive to Ann Arbor for better service.

The Village Center CVS is a terrible pharmacy that I will never use again. They once filled my son's script under my daughter's profile. The recording will often say there is no script ready when there actually is. Or vice versa!! Once a script was supposed to be ready, according to the recording, but actually was not until an hour later.
I won't use them again - especially if 2 members of my home need different medications. I wouldn't trust them to give the right script to the right person. This type of recklessness could be really harmful.

Horrible pharmacy, cannot follow Dr's simple prescription instructions, and rude on top of it.

I will be changing my primary pharmacy after my experience the two times I went in this week. I was hoping that I could use the CVS close to my house because of convenience... but all of these reviews are correct. The pharmacy staff is incredibly rude and will act like you're their enemy instead of their customer. When I need and value the services of a pharmacy, I don't appreciate being treated like I'm a nuisance or an enemy.
On Tuesday I went in and asked for my prescription and a drug that they keep behind the counter... The lady told me "we'll get you everything once we get your insurance updated. They were having issues with my insurance. The lady helping me tried to put my card in and got frustrated and said "I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO THIS, SOMEONE ELSE IS GONNA NEED TO HELP YOU..." And then she made me step aside to wait for the head pharmacist. The head pharmacist also had trouble. At this point, I wasn't mad... I just figured, I needed to call my insurance and get some stuff sorted... No big deal... When the head pharmacist came back he very sternly told me that my insurance wasn't working.
I tried to kindly tell him "It's not problem, I can get this sorted and come back tomorrow for the prescription." I wasn't escalating at all. I was calm but before I could say the word "problem" he interrupted saying "I understand that sir, but you're insurance isn't working and there is nothing I can do..." once he said that I was finally able to say the statement above. While all of this was happening a line built up at the main counter... I had to get back in line and wait for another 5 minutes to get the medicine they kept behind the counter. Once I got to the counter I asked for the lady rolled her eyes that I was back and I told her that I still needed the non-prescription drug that they kept behind the counter... unfortunately, they were out of it so it was a big waste of time when they should have informed me of that when I was listening to them defend themselves for no reason regarding my insurance.
I got my insurance stuff sorted and went back on Wednesday. I gave my insurance to a staff member for them to put into their system. The guy who helped me clearly hated this job. There's also this old guy there that gave me an annoyed non-verbal gesture to step aside when the pharmacist helping me stepped away from the pickup counter computer to his desk computer. And then, the pharmacist helping me stopped helping me to help another customer and then came back to me.
People trying to get prescriptions and medicines are usually sick in some way shape or form. They deserve to be treated like patients instead of nuisances... especially when they're giving the specific branch their service. The reason I'm switching away from here is because it seems like using these people has the potential to ruin my mood and life is too short for that garbage.
CVS is a good company. They can and should do better than the rude staff at this store. I'm not done with CVS as a brand... but I'm definitely done with CVS Hamburg. Do better.
Advice to locals... switch to the Kroger up the road. They're a lot more professional and don't treat you like crap.

The pharmacy staff couldn't be more rude if they tried. It's comical. Please close if you're that miserable. People need their medication and not your attitude.
