Refuses to deliver packages whenever there is a slight amount of snow. Claiming “obstructed pathway” when everything can be accessed just fine. Customer service is also horrendous.

The women who are in charge are lazy. They put the wrong letters in my box consistently. They are rude and obtuse. They would rather act as if they are super busy while doing nothing but mess with their phones. Not a one of them are worth the price of beans.

Whoever the mailman is that delivers on KI Sawyer needs to be replaced. My mail never comes, and I’m sick of it. I am signed up for informed delivery so I can see pictures of the mail I’m supposed to get and I hardly ever get it on time. I so sick of my mail being days late because this lazy person doesn’t want to have to do their job. Someone needs to look into this person and find out why they think they can pick and choose what days they deliver mail. If you can’t handle delivering mail then find a job doing something else, this is ridiculous!

After a year living in the same address, and doing several change of addresses, as well as going into the post office, and putting our names in the mailbox. We are still getting the wrong mail from previous owners and our mail is being returned to sender. This is the worst post office I have had to deal with.

The service that I have always received, the help, the advice and the efficiency of the team at the Gwinn MI United States Post Office have always been friendly and the information provided exactly what I needed to know. I greatly appreciate the staff at this USPS location.

Like others’ reviews we haven’t received mail for 2 weeks. Called and was told “you didn’t tell us you live here.” That’s exactly what the change of address form does! I’ve never had to call a post office to tell you I live in a place after submitting the change of address. Car registration, drivers license, birthday cards, bills are all missing and they just say they haven’t received them despite showing up everyday in Informed Delivery. Tried to give me a fake excuse that it shows stuff says before it arrives and is scanned in other states - my partner was a mail carrier and that is false! Has never happened at any other address I’ve lived. Why would mail here be delayed by two weeks versus another address I lived at just 30 minutes away?Submitted a complaint to the Inspector General that got them to call me and give me excuses, and will be calling the Postal Inspection Service about the Post Office and/or carrier stealing mail next if we don’t receive our mail this week. I advise you do the same if you’re experiencing this.

The carriers are great but the postal clerks at this office make every interaction a negative experience. Absolutely no customer service skills or people skills for that matter.

We own property in another city and like most, paid our property taxes by mail. We received our check back stamped NOT DELIVERABLE. By that time it was past due. I took the letter down to the Post Office (unopened) and showed it and the address on our tax bill to the postmaster and he said he didn't understand why it was returned. He then took the time to call the city manager of the city it was addressed to, and got an interesting answer. It seems the tax bills were printed with both a P.O. box number and a physical address prior to the closing of the P.O. box by the city. Their postmaster had suggested the city close its P.O. box and just use its office address to save the box rental fee as most of the mail was hand delivered anyway. Now the interesting thing. It seems the postmaster in the city was not liked by the person in charge of programming the sorting machines at the regional distribution center and this individual programed the machines to recognize the P.O. box as closed then ignore the physical address, which we also had on our envelope. The Gwinn postmaster then took the time to call the city clerk and explain the situation who then agreed to accept our late payment as paid on time. Great job. Now, if you can find my package from Natchez that is reported DELIVERED at 3:10 and is not here you will get your additional star. I flew medical flights for years. "I ALMOST GOT YOU THERE AS REPORTED" was not acceptable.

Absolutely ridiculous how obstinate and boorishly rude the postal workers are here. I ordered a new phone and had to wait for over a week to be able to actually receive my package, when I had an email that stated that my parcel, complete with a USPS tracking number, had been delivered. I then went to the office to try and pickup my parcel when it wasn't delivered as stated, they told me I was being stupid and that it was being delivered through UPS. I tried to argue with them and show that it wasn't, in fact, through UPS, and the worker there called me an obscene name and walked off. (I should point out that this happened after being ignored for 5 minutes when I initially walked into the lobby.) When I went online and rescheduled it for pickup at the post office, and then the next day showed up for pickup as per the confirmation email instructions, they promptly snuffed my proof of rescheduling and told me that it was out for delivery, despite having it listed as hold for pickup. I showed them the proof, showing the email from USPS, and they told me I didn't know what I was talking about, and told me it was out for delivery that day. It didn't show up for another 3 days. Very displeased, and the women working there didn't even try to help me find this package, despite me telling them that I hadn't had a properly working phone for over a week. They just told me to f***ing deal with it and walked away.
