Such a blessing. I went a day before a brunch I was set to host. They had a sidewalk sale and I was able to get a China set for $1, glasses and silverware for $26 altogether. Plastic is more pricey and that was my point to get the dishes. I'm so thankful for this gem.

One of the best thrift stores around, filled with lovely linens, china, kitchen and dining items, and even a senior discount on Wednesdays and other sale days. I got this beautiful two-piece glass serving set for $9 with my discount.

The staff are always friendly and welcoming, they always have sales on top of sales, and many of my favorite shoes, shirts and pants come from this place. Definitely my favorite thrift store to date!
In 1928 Marion Jarves Alger and a few friends hosted Grosse Pointe’s first rummage sale at the Neighborhood Club to generate funds to furnish its new community center. It was a huge success. This led to the establishment of the Neighborhood Club’s Thrift Shop to continue to offset Neighborhood Club program expenses. New items arrive everyday! Donations are accepted: Tuesday - Saturday, 10 am - 3 pm (Unless the store is closed for the holiday.) Please visit our website for donation guidelines. Thank you for your support of the Neighborhood Club Thrift Shop. Your generosity will continue to support Neighborhood Club programs and activities in the Grosse Pointe community.
