“After a nasty fight, I had to rush one of my dogs to Dr.Urban. This was 20 minutes prior to closing. I called and explained to the receptionist the situation and that I was on the way, and Dr.Urban stayed open for me to get my dog help. I am a new patient and had never been to this office before. If that doesn't say that Dr. Urban truly cares about animals, I don't know what does! With my dog covered head to toe in mud from her scuffle, he was more than welcoming to help her. His sense of humor and thorough explanation was very comforting. Even with a big injury my dog was still wagging her tail and was very comfortable with Dr.Urban. As a 25 year old, price point is a big factor for me. I knew I could not afford thousands of dollars in vet bills. The prices Dr.Urban gave me for various medications, pain/antibiotic shots, exams, surgery, and tests was incredible. Very reasonable. He worked with me on cash pricing as well which was very appreciated. He got me in the next day after hours to perform a surgery on her to get her put back together. He has called to check on her many times outside of regular hours. My dog is doing great, she is back to her normal self. I cannot thank Dr.Urban enough for his help!”

“I am so grateful for Dr. Sheppherd and Melissa! I started seeing them about 10 years ago with my dog Ginger. They helped with chronic vomiting with her and even told me that there were some issues with her spleen. I actually forget all of the details of what the situation was 10 years ago, but Ginger had her spleen removed three years ago with a massive tumor on it. They diagnosed it before any other veterinarian did a long time ago! Anyway, I have three dogs now and they have tremendously helped all three of my dogs with getting on proper nutrition and supplements to help parts of the body that weren’t working at full capacity. Melissa is a wealth of knowledge and she’s always teaching me so many new things! The whole team is friendly, and they advocate so hard for dogs! I am so grateful for them!”

Everyone did great explaining that in person to those they saw doing it but the employee with the blonde braids was doing too much yelling from behind the counter to clients like they are children. We are here for a service and customer service so that needs to be addressed.”

“My poor baby was scratching herself bloody everywhere and our normal vet was not answering the phone so I called everywhere. Every single place I called didn’t take walk ins, didn’t except new clients & had appointments out until the end of September. Until I reached ALFA CARE. I called them at 5:30 PM on Friday and she said to come in at 6pm. I sped there with my baby (who was absolutely terrified ?). We got in a room immediately. They said she had allergy to something (not outdoors). Gave her a steroid shot. Told me to go buy baby Benadryl & to keep putting triple antibiotic ointment on the spots like I had been. And to buy flea & tick treatment from their online pharmacy. Not sure if it was the steroids or the ointment I was putting on. But the dry does on her head clumped up and releases from her scalp. And her bloody spots have healed. So I’m happy And she’s happy, just a little sore when you touch her now bald spot directly.”
