I had an excellent experience with Anthony at Rimanelli's Custom Tailor who I found him through Google maps.
I brought two 1818 suits, jackets needing buttons, and pants needing a hem and a 1/2 adjustment on the waist.
I explained that I had an interview that Friday, he asked which I prefer and promised he would have one of the two ready that Friday.
When I arrived on Friday, he had them both ready. I tried them on and they fit perfectly!

I have been a customer at Rimanelli’s Custom Tailor, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with his expertise and attention to detail. As a guy who stands a few inches shy of six feet tall and carries an above average beer belly, finding well-fitting clothes has always been a challenge for me. However, my experience at Rimanelli’s completely changed that narrative. From the moment I walked in, Anthony warmly greeted me, and it was evident that he is committed to providing exceptional service. The tailor took the time to understand my unique body shape and style preferences, making me feel comfortable and confident throughout the fitting process. What truly sets Rimanelli’s apart is their commitment to preserving the original bottoms of pants. As someone who often struggles with pant length due to my height, this was a game-changer for me. I needed alterations on a suit I bought at Brooks Brothers. I looked online and noticed the good reviews for this company so I proceeded to have pants and the suit coat altered. I followed their suggestions on the alterations. I returned to find my pants to be perfect but the coat was all "jacked up." The back looked absolutely terrible and I couldn't believe they said it was ready to leave the shop. The tailor proceeded to make adjustments. As he improved the back, the front became worse. I said that you need a break from this and I would return. Then, hopefully everything would be OK. I returned after a couple week break and the back looked fine but the front was all puckered up. I complained that it was unacceptable. They tried to make adjustments but failed to make me satisfied. As long as I don't button the jacket, the coat looks half-way decent. However, I prefer to button the top button, and in so doing the coat looks atrocious. In the process of the alterations, they blamed me for my imperfect posture; criticized Brooks Brothers for selling me the suit size; and told me I bought a cheap suit that was made in Egypt and glued together. Furthermore, they insinuated that my prior coats probably had the same problem. Now I have gone from having a suit that I liked to one that I am embarrassed to wear. Furthermore, I had to listen to the negative criticism of my posture and my clothing decisions. I told them that if you didn't want to work on "cheap" Brooks Brothers suits, then you should have declined to take my suit in the first place. They didn't have much of a response to that. I guess money is more important. There was very little positivity on their part to correct the situation and too much negativity and blame pointed elsewhere. Now I have to either wear a suit that looks poorly tailored or find someone else to correct the problem. I have learned a lot from this experience and the next place I go, I'm going to bring in a suit jacket that has already been tailored to my satisfaction, and ask first if they can duplicate the fit. It's too costly and frustrating to assume that a tailor can fit and alter a jacket correctly. I should feel lucky as I have been buying suits and sport coats for 55+ years, and this is the first time I've had a jacket alternation get screwed up. Needless to say, I won't be returning to Rimanelli's.Service: Alterations
