I have gotten a few special occasion gifts made from this place, mostly necklaces, and everything has been perfect! The details in one of the engraved necklaces was so fine, the quality was beautiful! The location is also very well decorated no matter when my family drives by. Customer service was also very smooth, overall a wonderful shop.

Dimaggio's did a great job making my wedding ring. I wanted to use my great grandfathers wedding ring when I got married, but it was far too small for my finger. Dimaggio's had the idea to melt my great grandfathers ring and combine it with more gold to create a new ring for me. I love the hand hammered finish it has and knowing that its made from the gold in my grandfathers ring.

Last weekend my 1 carat diamond that was set by DiMaggio Jewelers in Grosse Pointe 9 months ago fell out of my ring and was lost? I was devastated, and throughly disgusted after DiMaggio Jewelers told my husband and I to come in and then proceeded to tell us aggressively that “it wasn’t his fault and for us to go to another jeweler and we would see it wasn’t his fault!” He also told us to “get the $&@? out and not to ruin his day!” Horrible customer service! Absolutely Horrible. He is a low class gangster. That night, I found my diamond!! Tears of happiness was a understatement. We then took my ring to Ahee Jewelers and were told by their jeweler that the diamond should have been set more securely and soddered to the whole setting, not just the tiny post as DiMaggio Jewelers had done? We had a new setting of blue sapphires and diamonds made and Ahee Jewelry set my diamond. They did a beautiful job! I am so happy! I just wanted to share a follow up to this horrible story and to praise Ahee Jewelers for their professionalism, and their excellent service, and to warn others to stay far far away from DiMaggio Jewelers!
