The Charlevoix continues to impress. The food choices are inspired and fun - try everything! Some things I never would have thought to try have been incredible (carrot tostadas have no business being this good). They also serve the best Ole Fashioned in town, and have Sea Quench on tap.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options, including the tostadas and the smoked tofu sandwich (don't skip this, it's insanely good).Parking: Parking lot is right across the street at the intersection corner.

We tried this place when we first moved here 3 years ago and weren't fans. Decided to give it another shot this past weekend and it was unfortunately the same, except the service has horrible this time. Our server was down right rude to multiple people in our group - not sure of her name bc she didn't tell us it.She had brown hair and glasses. For example, she snapped at someone for asking what was on draft and told him he needed to be looking at the menu instead of asking her. That was one of the multiple times she was straight up nasty. We all got tacos - I'm a huge fan of spicy but these were WAY too spicy. It's funny, I decided against the bowl of chili because the table next to us said it was super spicy and were struggling to even eat it. All for seasoning your food but when tables of guests have the same feedback and can't enjoy their (expensive, these prices are insane!) meal, you're doing something WRONG.The music was so loud the entire time that our table was practically screaming at each other to even communicate. We had two drinks, ate our food and left.If you want a good cocktail in the park - try Coriander Kitchen. They beat this place any day.

This is going to be a long review, but it’s not often when a place knocks it out of the “park” in every aspect. I see why Grosse Pointe Park was the city of choice for this gem.First impressions were great, the colors in the decor of the restaurant bring the place to life along with an abundance of natural light. Service was nothing shy of perfect when sitting at the bar on a weekday, or at a table during a busy Sunday Brunch. Now onto the food. Both visits I wanted to be sure to try as many different menu items as I could, even ones I didn’t think I’d like just to be sure to get the full experience. The first dish had to be the Carrot Tostada, which was a messy dish to eat to say the least, however it is such a unique menu item and very delicious. We then moved on to the SPAM Fried Rice. This was not something I thought I’d like at all, yet this was my favorite dish of the night. There were so many flavors that interacted perfectly with each other, I just couldn’t keep my fork out of it. We then finished off with the Smashed Potatoes and Japanese Wings. The potatoes were cooked to perfection and the feta was such a great compliment. The Wings were so unique, you could really taste the wasabi without it being overpowering. Overall an amazing first experience.I then decided to return for a late lunch on Sunday. We started off with the Green Chiliquiles from the Brunch menu. It was of course delicious, however the chips were soggy immediately, and the egg was a bit overcooked. Nonetheless the flavor was still there, and was eaten happily. Next we had to try the Cauliflower Salad, and the Brussels Sprouts Caesar. Brussels Sprouts are my favorite vegetable, but I’m not a big fan of Caesar dressing. It was such a refreshing salad that wasn’t overpowering or heavy on the Caesar. Now the star of the show hands down and without a doubt is the Cauliflower Salad. No questions asked this was the best dish I have tried yet from here. Do not come here without ordering it. The Cauliflower is multicolored as well which I really enjoyed. We finished off with the Kimchee Sliders which came in a paper bag showing they have mastered the art of presentation. They didn’t sell themselves short on the flavor either as it was amazing as well.I washed everything down with The Yellowjacket which is a fantastic craft cocktail. The rosemary made each sip super fragrant and ended our late lunch perfectly. It’s a privilege being able to make eating food an experience, and this place knows exactly what they are doing from the ambience, the service, the unique menu items, and fantastic presentation. You won’t be able to find many of the items they offer at other places, and each unique menu item they have mastered down to a science. I highly recommend this place and cannot wait to return and try more amazing dishes!

Lots of parking space.Vegetarian options: Decent handful of veg options on the menu and they're all great. Recommend the carrot tostada, fried tofu slider, and cauliflower salad.Parking: Big lot across the street from the restaurant

This place rocks. There are always specials to check out on their website or Instagram. We love the duck pastrami poutine, shrimp quesadilla, the kung pao catfish, the burgers and fries they have (on Mondays I believe), the sliders, the tacos, and the service is good. The only sad thing is when food we love goes on a hiatus.

I love this place. It’s definitely our go to for both food and drinks. We can have dinner and drinks for two under $50 which is hard to do these days in my opinion. We have tried many dishes over the years and all are excellent. Though they can be spicy, so be careful if you’re sensitive. The vegetarian options are wonderful. The drinks are always great. I’m never disappointed.Servers are always on top of it. Quick and efficient. We have never had a mistake. My only complaint is the uncomfortable seating.

This place is a hidden gem… 15/10. The food is absolutely wonderful here, and changes fairly frequently. Owners are wonderful and everyone is super welcoming here! Highly recommend The Charlevoix if you’ve never been! Reasonably priced food and drinks, but phenomenal drinks and food for the price! Has a nice small town feel being located in the Park as well.

First time there and I devoured the food before I thought to take pix! Chicken mini slider, salt and pepper shrimp, Carrot tostada all next level. Winter Solstice cocktail perfect holiday drink. This food is something different and delicious in Grosse Pointe I’ll be back.Vegetarian options: Seems like there are few very intriguing veggie dishesKid-friendliness: If they are adventurous eaters!Wheelchair accessibility: There is a lot of room around the tables.

Went here kinda by accident as I was caught out hungry and with less than an hour to eat. Here was suggested by locals as i was McDonald's bound at first. I'd consider it a bar with a great menu but beyond bar food. I had a cauliflower salad and lemon pepper wings to-go. The bartender took care of me quickly and i was on my way. The wings were salt and vinegar and puckery but not too much. The salad had a wonderful sauce /aioli with salty bits of caper, parmesan cheese and raw I think cauliflower. I had to search for parking as their lot was full. That usually would cause me to leave but glad I found street parking not too far away. I definitely want to see more of this menu

My husband and I are mini-honey-mooning in the Detroit area and have an airbnb in Grosse point park. This restaurant/bar was recommended to us and we absolutely loved it. The environment is awesome, the food is unique and on point (Brussel salad!). Great price point for the quantities. We loved our server Crystal!

New spin on classic dishes. Salt and vinegar wings are addictive. And who knew collard greens and coconut go together. Great place to watch sports, too. ??
