I have been twice to this location. The instructor was great. It was most definitely hot. I can't wait to see them add more class times like they use to have I only took 2 stars away because it costs more now and the class schedule is nothing compared to the choices they used to offer.

instructor at front desk was rude. I scheduled a class hoping it would make me feel better after a bad day, to walk in and have the instructor make me feel like an idiot. I walked out crying before the class even started. All I wanted was to try something new, and instead I now never want to again. You would think they would be enthusiastic about a new student, but instead are unwelcoming and offered no help.

Hot Yoga Grosse Pointe has been deeply healing for me after having a C-section and feeling disconnected from my core. It is lead in a way that’s gentle yet intense enough to create change in the body and the energy release I feel after leaving is tremendous. The experienced instructors make all levels of students feel comfortable and more advanced students also able to take their practice to their edge. I’ve been practicing yoga for 20 years now and I always find that hot yoga balances out my energy and grounds me more than other types of yoga. If you’re considering trying hot yoga with Mary Ella or one of her other amazing instructors I would not hesitate. The community is friendly and the atmosphere is wonderful with crystals and magical healing messages cheering your soul on in your yoga journey. Intelligent precautions are taken to prevent covid and the environment is clean and the heat feels amazing. I’ve been to Hot Yoga studio’s around the country and this is by far the best one I’ve ever walked into I love hot Yoga and Grosse Pointe!

This evening was my first time doing hot yoga, I didn't know what to expect at first, but as soon as I walked in I felt comfortable. The instructor was so nice, welcoming, and super patient with me. She explained the whole process, even during our yoga session she redirected me when needed, encouraged me when I was doing the correct poses. Even though I couldn't get all the poses correctly I think I did pretty good for my first session. Of course it's hot in the room but the heat wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, I was so focused on doing the poses correctly the heat didn't bother me at all, but I did sweat a lot which was good. . Even the other people in the class was so nice, encouraged me, and also gave me pointers. It was a great first experience and i will be back.I left out feeling amazing. Thank you for a great first experience.

I attended my first class here in 2002 and it changed my life. I drifted into other schools of practice but came back to Hot Yoga Grosse Pointe in 2018 and AGAIN it was a pivotal moment physically and mentally. Mary Ella runs an amazing studio—sparklingly clean and cozy—and she and the other teachers are energetic, empathetic, and inspirational. If you’re going to be addicted to one thing in life, this is the one that will result in optimum physical health and mental clarity!

I began attending classes at Hot Yoga GP to supplement and support my other fitness hobbies. After 5 or 10 classes, I started to notice how much the 26/2 practice in the studio was amping me up in other parts of my life; helping me show up to everything with more clarity, focus, and self confidence.I attribute that change to the gains i have made in class. Additionally, the lines of my physique have vastly improved, giving me a more fit appearance, which I wasn't expecting from standing in one spot! Incredible sequence of poses, beautiful studio, trauma- conscious instructors who make the most challenging postures feel safe. Love this place

Other than being rushed out afterwards and a rather pretentious woman running the studio, it was a fine experience. Good prices too

I can’t do yoga unless the room is heated. Whether a beginner or experienced this is the best place to go to practice traditional yoga and grow your physical and mental strength.

My husband and I have been attending classes at Bikram Yoga Grosse Pointe for about 9 months now, once or twice a week. The heated room and regimented sequence of poses challenged us at first, and has now become a passion. Mary Ella and George are both fantastic instructors. They include nuanced refinements of each pose as they talk you through the class. I've learned a great deal about my body and expanded my skill set through the repetition of the 26/2 pose sequence. The vibe of the studio is friendly, calm, and peaceful. It has a lot of character and charm -- I prefer it vastly to the hip, fashion-y yoga studios around.
