“Mother’s day gift from my daughter.
I was so impressed that a place like this existed. Made pressed flower design which we received a frame to place our finished work. The wonderful people that work here are like old friends by the time you finish and leave. I was so happy and loved being able to be crafty as I don’t think of myself that way. I will surely be going back!!!!”

“My experience was absolutely awesome! I had a great time with my coworkers and our teacher Allison was an absolute GEM. Dying the items only requires your open mind (no artist talent necessary ???) . Allison was there to help as much or as little as we wanted. All the dye colors choices were beautiful and endless. The shop is very cute and there's plenty of items you'll want to buy for yourself as well as inspiration when dying your own items. Pickup was a breeze as well and Tammy was a joy during this time. She was great to speak with. It's always fun to have fun, but what puts the cherry on top is being able to give back to the community while doing it. I can safely speak on my groups behal and say a great time was had by all. I know a few people in my group have been there multiple times and I will definitely be back. Thanks for a great time.”

“I came here for a holiday market, so I didn't have a proper Woodward Throwbacks experience, but this business is so fun and unique! They give so many local-based materials and products a second life and give them a chance at finding a second home. Some of my friends came here (I believe you have to schedule appointments apparently to come here normally) to pick up some milk glass lamp shades and it was a very quick in and out situation. Make sure to pay attention to their socials for product availability as they get them in! The space feels like a showroom on the first floor and then sort of a warehouse-like space on the second floor. I went up a very steep incline ramp to get to the second floor, kind of fun and unique, and there were more vendors for the holiday market up there, so unclear is this is sort of another showroom type place normally as well where they just have a lot of their products available too. Either way, super unique place to find unique pieces to add a ton of Michigan/Detroit-based character and personality into your home if that's what you're looking for! I definitely am and will be perusing their stock to see what I can bring into my space soon!”

“It's been a long time since I have step foot in here, usually would take my grandmother to pick up buttons and other supplies but I decided today to come in for my own reasons. As soon as I walked in the door I think the ladies could tell I had no clue what I was doing and assisted me right away. I told them exactly what I had in mind for my homemade smoker and was presented with the expensive option to the most inexpensive option that just happen to be on sale and in Camo ( score )!! I gave them the rough measurements of the smoker ( a filing cabinet) and they figured out how much I would need. The nice lady got called away to assist at the cash so another nice lady offered to sort me out, I told her how much material I needed and she got it all cut and rolled up for me super quick. While she was cutting the material I was telling her about my lack of experience with sewing this type of material and she reassured me that as long as I know how to sew I will have no problems and it will turn out great. I'm lucky that my parents showed me how to sew by hand and with a machine so I should be ok .
In the end I got out of there saving a lot of money and met some really nice employees, hopefully I'll have to go back for some other supplies at some point and I can show them my progress on the cover.”

“Nordlie has been a great partner for our theatre company. We use flower sales as a fund raiser during performances. The bouquets are reasonably priced and absolutely beautiful. They deliver directly to the theatre which makes opening night less stressful! Only one issue in time we've used them and they resolved it in a timely manner. I would recommend them for wholesale floral.”

“Wow. Full stock and organized although there appears to be some improvement needed on the young girls underclothing wall. Loved the selection though. This is not a huge store,however, they have a good selection available. Bath and bedding area is smaller. Staff pleasant. Will be back? Love this location.”
