My husband has a substantial beard and swears by cutting it with a scissors rather than a buzzer ever since we lived in NYC.... he was super spoiled by my stylist who cut his beard like a head of hair. This is the best beard trim and hair cut he has found in Michigan. Thank you Yvonne!

My hair looked beautiful when I left The Do recently, but I felt rather depressed I will be the first to admit that I have incredibly problematic hair to deal with, very, very thick, curly. and coarse. The hairstylist was very talented and managed to make my hair look good (which was appreciated)! What was less appreciated was when all my flaws were pointed out to me in great detail over the course of two hours. Already knowing these flaws was the reason behind my visit to the salon in the first place. Honestly felt worse leaving than going in...

I’ve been going to Do for many years. All the stylists are professionals and it’s such a friendly and enjoyable experience to get your hair done there. Rupa has been my stylist for a long time and she always works with me to make sure I get exactly what I want—so kind and so talented. I have referred friends to Rupa and others at the Do because I know that they will have a positive experience which is so important when it comes to your hair!

I have been going to Do for years now. I moved to Chicago from GPP 3 years ago and would come home to get my hair cut by Rupa at Do because I trust her so much! This is such a great neighborhood salon and everyone that works there is truly talented in the art of doing hair. Most of all ladies, they listen to you. Rupa is my stylist and she makes the experience just lovely. She has cut my hair (trims and from very long to short!) and colored my hair and I trust her implicitly! If you are looking for a trusted professional to do your hair, this is your place. :-)

I have been going to The DO for twenty years. Yvonne is my stylist but everyone in the shop has done my hair and color; they are all amazing. I drive an hour each way for their awesome service.
