“Such a quaint antique store in Grosse Pointe Park! The people who work here are so kind and lovely to chat with, while also giving you the space to browse on your own. There are a ton of fun things to check out here, and very unique too! I did hear from my friend who I came with, who is a lot more well-versed with antiquing that Lloyd David Antique's is definitely on the pricier side compared to other antique shops. So keep that in mind as you browse! One of the employees was suggesting that pricing could be flexible, just depending on what you got, so I think there is some room for haggling. There were also a lot of tables that had sales on them more towards the front of the shop, along with all the ornaments strung up throughout the shop being $1! Lots to look at and I had a lovely time browsing! I ended up picking up some crystal icicle ornaments to add to my Christmas tree and they were the perfect addition! They ran about $3 per ornament. Also, important to note that this antique shop definitely carries weird hours. My friend who lives in GPP said this was her first time being able to come here because every time she has been in the downtown GPP area in the last two years she's lived here, the antique shop has always been closed, regardless of what time of the day she finds herself here. Something to make a note of before you come here - might be good to call ahead to see if they're even open!”

“We just had our grandfather clock repaired via a house call. The technician did a great job. Fixed the problem, oiled the parts, and gave us lots of advice to keep our clock running. Our total experience was excellent. I would highly recommend Roseville Clock Shop.”

“This place is unreal! Fred and Michelle are fantastic. I could’ve spent hours in there but it was near closing time so I left with a few pieces of furniture that I absolutely love at an amazing price. I already can’t wait to go back. Thank you!!”

“I found these company through a simple google search. They were very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating in their services. I was looking to get a very old sewing machine restored, and after a couple of emails everything worked out well. They did a pickup, restoration and drop off. The final product was fantastic, and above expectations since the piece of furniture was in very bad shape. Overall, this was a great company to get services from.”

“I have never been disappointed with this store. I went in, looking for a large framed print and side tables for my couch. I did find two tables that are suitable for side tables, although that was not their original purpose. I didn't find a picture I liked this time, but have certainly found lovely ones in the past. The owners are a mother and daughter and they're very welcoming and friendly. It's a great consignment store.”

“David, an amazing passionate collector. We used to visit Okame when it was on Parliament St in Toronto. Store was like entering the old Japan of mighty samurai, beautiful weaponry, perfectly preserved prints and delicate artifacts. We have many many delightful and worthy items. We even visited his sister's paper store long ago, where David displayed his precious Japanese pieces. We hope you get to go into his store. He will take you back to a mystical time. We still collect, and miss his art very much as we are now in New Brunswick.David, may you show and teach for 100 years more. I recall the story of your grandmother. Happy 2021”

“Such an impressive place. It’s tough to find an antique store not crammed with knick knacks these days. I have loved antiquing since childhood and this place reminded me of why I fell in love with it! My favorite antique styles are Eastlake Victorian and Arts& Crafts, so if you enjoy those you might find something here. Tons of beautiful frames to sift through, beautiful lamps, and some very interesting Native masks. The owner seems genuine and offers quite reasonable deals. I’ll be back often!”

“People have no idea what they're looking at when they come to a sale. They laugh when a piece of furniture from the 1800s is over $100. They want everything as close to free as they can get it. Jealous people making bad reviews because they can't afford quality items.”
