I have known the Dieball family for decades and have worked with Skip within US Sailing as well as a sailmaker, seminar instructor, and fellow competitor. As a world-class competitor and current Etchells World Champion, he is committed to promoting and supporting sailing in the Midwest. This is not a large operation, but the small staff are energetic and dedicated and with a little follow-up once in a while, provide fine service.

Skip took the time and showed me how to properly measure the rig tension on my Etchells. It was minutes before he had to leave for an important race. The results were amazing for this beginner in the Etchells class.

I don't usually write reviews, especially negative ones, but I would just give warning if you buy anything from this company and need/expect it in a timely fashion. I ordered hiking straps on Dec. 3 that were going to be a Christmas present for my father and was told I could expect it in 5 business days.On December 23, I had yet to received my package (14 business days later) so I called customer service (which is one person's personal phone number - Mr. Wiggins) and left a voicemail and sent an email. I later received a response email stating that the label was printed but package was never shipped. I advised Mr. Wiggins that it was a Christmas gift and he apologized and stated I would receive it after Christmas. I asked if I would be compensated for the error but never received a response. I ended up received the hiking straps on Dec 29, almost 4 weeks after ordering them.So if you want to use an unreliable company that will not be accountable for their mistakes, then use Dieball Sailing. It should be their motto.
