Do not take your vehicle to McQueen’s Auto! I had them replace a valve cover gasket on my truck and they destroyed the motor and put my family at risk. They broke off a clip that holds on a pressurized fuel line and it fell into the motor. They zip tied the fuel line in place, if that came loose it would’ve been a huge fire risk. The clip got stuck in the valve and destroyed the motor. The truck was taken to a dealership and they used a scope camera to take pictures of the clip stuck in the motor. Initially Steve McQueen denied responsibility, then offered to “fix” the motor for $1000 and finally after seeing the scope pictures he admitted responsibility and offered to “fix” it for free. The dealership said the motor needed to be replaced and not repaired. They also pointed out several other things that McQueen’s did wrong like missing bolts, caulk on parts, grommets installed incorrect, brackets missing, etc. I then discovered that McQueen’s facility license with the State of Michigan was expired and had been when the work was performed. Steve McQueen also had an expired mechanic license when he offered to “fix” the truck. I was not going to let an unlicensed mechanic and facility do further damage to my truck and put my family at risk. If they thought it was okay to secure a fuel line with a zip tie, what else would they do? When I informed Mr. McQueen that I wasn’t letting him work on the truck and we needed to figure out a financial solution he hung up on me and hasn’t spoken to me since. The repairs on my truck cost well over $10,000 and I was without a vehicle for weeks.

It took awhile for them to fix my motorcycles tire but that was due to outside circumstances that were not in controll of the owner they very very kind and when they did work on my bike they were very time efficient I would highly recommend this repair shop will be doing buisness here in the future

If you go and get a estimate they will tell you your vehicle is not road worthy so they can't give it back to you until they fix it. even if you want to go get a estimate somewhere else they won't give you your vehicle back until they fix it.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Steve got my truck in next day for a quick hose replacement when all other shops in greenville were scheduled out months. Had to leave truck there for the day and he went the extra mile to to write up an estimate on an upcoming joint issue, along with advice on body work.

Shameful that you don’t disclose how much you charge for an inspection before it’s been done. While $135 is outrageous for most places you make matters worse by surprising the customers. Charge whatever you think is fair but be ready for the backlash when it’s sprung upon unexpectedTo make matters worse your tech then proceeds to offer a discount on the future services in order to gain business after its already proven that the pricing is out of this world.On top of all this the tech then proceeds to tell me that I shouldn’t work in the car myself because lack of expertise and sub par quality of parts of which he had no idea about either in my caseYou will never have my return business nor that of anyone I can tell about your business. They were not honest about anything. Bad work and the woman lied to me every time I talked to her over the phone. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL.
