B & J offers all around excellent service. I am very pleased with the speed and quality of work on my 2017 Chevy Tahoe. We haul a camper several times each season for the last 4 seasons. The 6L80 transmission is apparently low quality, just a heads up if you own a Chevy truck (I had never heard of this). It went out at 129k miles but no transmission flushes. B & J knows their stuff and could explain it in a way a non-transmission expert could understand. Thank you so much B & J team!!!

The new owner Josh is amazing my family and I have followed him for years from his first shop on northland drive that is now northland auto in cedar springs. We have never trusted anyone else nor will I. He always does great service and work on our vehicles and only employes the best mechanics.

Josh has been my mechanic for several years now. I wouldn't take my car to anyone else for repairs. From balancing my tires to replacing my engine, Josh has taken care of all my automotive needs at a reasonable price. After taking my car to a couple local transmission places we finally landed on B & J. They were THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS cheaper than a couple of places in Grand Rapids. We got the transmission replaced on a Wednesday, and on Friday were leaving town for a wedding. As we got to Holland (about 45 minutes from our house) the car acted up and the transmission seemed messed up. I called B&J to tell them what was going on and they said to take it to the nearest ford dealership and they would handle. They also said they would pay for a rental car. Long story short, they figured out the problem and B&J took care of everything. What really got me, though, was the fact that the owner lent me HIS vehicle so he could drive our rental back to holland and pick up our actual car. That is going above and beyond. While it didn't start as a great experience it certainly ended that way and they have won my loyalty.

Worked with Josh on having the fluid change service for our Impala. Knowledgeable, helpful and quick service. We discussed a few other maintenance procedures that were suggested for the mileage on our vehicle. Josh was very professional- didn't push anything at all, just suggested that it's not a bad idea to think about having the spark plugs changed soon being that we are just over 100,000 miles. These guys were by far the most honest auto repair shop I’ve ever been too. They were friendly and listened intently to what I would tell them about the symptoms. I needed my transmission serviced, one of the few places that offered the traditional service for high mileage cars. Then he gave me a quote on my rear hub assemblies $585. That's $150 cheaper than Belle tire!

Had the clutch replaced on our older ranger. New it would be beyond my ability so i left it to the pros. They stuck with it even though there were some difficulties. Gotta say, their service was above and beyond. Highly recommend.
