This skating rink is one of the better ones. It’s the right size, it doesn’t smell funny, the music is decent, there are games for kids who aren’t skating, and it was a great first time skating moment for my little one. Had a great time and my kid is already asking when we can go back :).

Great place for families. It's refreshing to see kids off the screens and enjoy people face to face.

Took my niece there for a school outing. I used to go there when I was a kid, and it still looks the exact same. Smells the exact same too ?? everything was fine, but what really bothered me is that the support things the kids use to help balance themselves, they charge for! Firstly, they don't have many of them so I ended up on a wait list for over half an hour. And secondly, they charged $10, and returned $5 when I turned it back in, essentially charging me $5 for my niece to use it. I would understand charging a deposit to ensure it gets returned or if it broke, but actually charging $5 to use it is absurd.

I appreciate the skate guards monitoring the rink floor and making it safer (e.g. whistling anyone playing rink tag, etc). I don't want my 7 year old child to be injured unnecessarily. I can still have a conversation on the rink because the music is not overly loud. In the past, I had to go to the snack area to have a conversation and I'm glad the music volume allows for conversation. My skate wheels start off smooth and clean but start feeling bumpy/dirty about 45 minutes into it, unfortunately. Still a fun time though.

I liked the inside atmosphere, vibrant and kid friendly. They need more food selections. Music was good.

This was my first and LAST time here. The “staff” are a bunch of young kids and the “adults” that are training these kids clearly do not know proper customer service and decency. To start the pair of skates my young son (under 10) had on that we rented from the facility the wheel came off resulting in him falling. Clearly very dangerous. We got a new pair and all was fine so I thought..There were multiple people on the rink that were obviously very skilled skaters, but did not respect other people around them that were not. One individual in particular almost knocked my son over twice and got so close to me personally he had touched me. Mind you this individual is a grown man who appeared to be well over the age of 30. We had to stop multiple times due to this person almost hitting us, however the staff had the audacity to tell us to “move it along” because we were stopped. When attempting to voice my concerns to the staff they brushed it off and didn’t even seem to comprehend what I was saying anyways. The last and final straw was when this man, same individual on the rink that almost ran into my son, he fell but put his leg up on the ledge resulting in his skate being inches away from hitting my sons hand. This could have caused a very serious injury. Seriously what the hell?I understand people fall and run into people it’s a roller rink, but it was obvious he was trying to show off. Our family night was ruined and I will be requesting a refund. Hopefully whoever owns this garbage pile responds back to me.

Tarry Hall might just be my new favorite roller skating rink. I've been an avid skater for over three decades and have been to countless Wisconsin and Michigan roller skating rinks, but Tarry Hall is special. For one thing, they're so committed to maintaining a heavenly skating surface, that once I saw them repair a nick in the floor during a session! And, they did it with safety in mind by completing the task quickly with safety cones and two people: one to patch and one spotter to direct traffic and further protect the patching pro. I was quite impressed with the rink's dedication to providing skaters with a consistently excellent experience. The Friday night music is a variety of good, "skatable" songs. They seem to realize (and other rinks DON'T) that just because a song is popular, doesn't mean it's any fun to skate to. I also really appreciate that this roller skating rink offers THREE adults-only sessions per week (at least as of July 2023 when I'm posting this review)!! AND they aren't all set to "oldies-only" music. Every other skating rink I've been to with adults-only night has 60s, 70s, and 80s music only for some reason. The concession area is nice with fair prices and plenty of seating, they have decent referees/floor monitors, all the staff I encounter is pleasant and professional, the women's restroom is well-maintained (I can only assume it's the same for the men's), and everything everywhere is quite clean. It's obvious that the owners take pride in their facility.

My sister and I were there to check out prices in their pro shop, and man! They haven't really changed much. It was great to be back in there. Even if it was for something small, I had to look around. Made me happy! I hope to go back and actually skate.

This is a place that everyone in the family will enjoy. Even if you can't skate (like me) the facility is nice, the music is good, and the snack bar has a pretty good selection. Pretty reasonably priced.

We went here for a school function for my daughter and we had such a fun time. My absolute favorite part, though, was the staff. I know there are a lot of rules that need to be followed and the staff implemented them with kindness and grace. It made my kids and me feel safe and comfortable. One gentleman in particular named Jose (I believe) was working so hard in every area of the roller rink. Very impressed and will definitely be coming back.Oh and they accept Apple Pay! Which is awesome, because I didn’t want to carry around my wallet or debit card and didn’t have to!
