I don't know how much you pay these people here but it's not enough. The associates here are so friendly, and ready to help you with whatever you need. You can say what you require even if you're not really sure of what specific product and they will tackle the request with professionalism and ease. I also appreciated the recommendations for a new moisturizer for my hyperpigmentation. Thank you so much rivertown crossing Sephora. I am amazed with the staff here.

Update:After Sephora’s disingenuous message about “equity and inclusion,” they still did nothing about the racial profiling that happened at this store. A bunch of regurgitated and pre-programmed emails to me does not fix the fact that you have a massive influx of racist employees working at your location.I’m not the only one who has complained about this based on the reviews. I still don’t understand how you can have customers followed around the store and then write an email about being “all inclusive”The manager even checked the location where we were and was adjusting things to make sure we didn’t steal anything after we left.At check out, one of the girls who helped me picked out a lip gloss, (and was also later following us around the store to make sure we didn’t steal), had the nerve to ask me who helped me so she could still get her bonus employee points.The overall experience was disgusting, but I think what is even more appalling is Sephora’s reaction following the incident. I will now cut ties with this company.

Took my 11 year old upon her request for her first Sephora trip. Every single employee spoke to us! Nobody was pushy. All of them paid attention to my 11 year old as if she was just as important as an adult walking in there. Thank you for a great experience!

Wow, the staff here are excellent! We received friendly and personalized service from all the staff and were even offered a sample to try at home. It’s was pretty amazing!

Came in today for a makeup appointment and had a wonderful experience! I was instantly greeted when I walked in, and Hannah did my makeup for my engagement photos. I would HIGHLY recommend Hannah for makeup!! She was very attentive and gave me the exact look I was going for. I appreciated how much she checked in to make sure I liked how the makeup was turning out, and she would adjust and easily tweak something to make sure the final look was amazing and what I wanted. It was exactly what you'd expect from a makeup appointment. Thank you, Hannah!

I was at the mall and decided to stop in Sephora to look for a specific travel size fragrance. I was greeted by a middle aged (perhaps mid to late 40s and approximately 5”3ish) woman with brown shoulder length hair. She asked if I was looking for something specific, I did say I was just browsing because I also planned on looking around for some new products and she mentioned that a lot was on sale and to keep a lookout for the sale items. Ok, great. I slowly wandered towards the back of the store where the fragrances are located and looked around a little then went towards the travel size perfumes stand. Walked around the stand once looking specifically for the one I wanted and the same woman ask which one I was looking for, I told her and she immediately and firmly said we don’t sell that here.. try Macys.Now, I can assure you they do sell it online. And in the past if in-store they don’t have it I have had a staff member order it for me OR even tell me which stores nearby do have it.I thought she was very rude and that her response was very unprofessional. I decided to move on and browse a little more on my way out to see if anything else caught my eye. I was maybe half towards the front and there she was again following me every aisle I went up and down. I left feeling very uncomfortable and she made feel like she was watching me like I was going to steal. Very offended.Regardless I still love Sephora stores. I am a loyal Sephora brand credit card holder. I went straight home and ordered the exact perfume I was looking for. Hopefully that specific location can pull it together and not make their customers feel uncomfortable. I understand they have to be on their toes about shoplifters but perhaps they need some different training on how to spot those kinds of shoppers versus loyal customers.

Today, March 22, 2023 me and my mother went in at about 1:10 pm. First we were helped by a nice lady to try tightening cream for my moms eye bags. We wanted to look around the store while we waited to see if the product actually worked before buying. I was looking at perfumes and an associate comes over and acts like she is fixing perfumes for about 10 minutes while we were over trying different perfumes. She was watching us and it was extremely uncomfortable. When we walked away she followed and when we stopped so did she. She made the whole experience unpleasant. Even though I liked some of the perfumes, I decided not to spend my money here due to being followed. I wish I got her name, maybe management could review the camera footage to address her.

The selection of products in such a small footprint is impressive! We asked for help picking out a few different items and the staff was very accommodating. We’ll be back!

Employees are helpful when they want to be but end up being very pushy in the busy mall sensibility way, very "buy something or I don't wanna be near you" sometimes.
