Fun and challenging. If you're willing to dig, you can find amazing things. Bring patience and time

Place seems to always be very busy and crowded. The bins never have many good items. They seem very picked over when they come out, the items are either broke, old, or very used. People picking are usually very rude and pushy. Positives are the prices are good. Clothing seems much better than other items, good clothes can be picked.

Don’t go here unless you want to be intimidated by all the vultures that sit there all day just waiting for new bins to be brought out. Not a welcoming environment at all. There was customers just hovering around certain bins and wouldn’t let you near them. And honestly most stuff wasn’t worth while considering this is left over stuff that didn’t sell in their regular locations. A lot of broken or stained items or things that were missing pieces.

I was surprised to find that, as a bin store, bins seemed to be limited. MANY people were hanging around for the next roll-out. I was impressed by a young man who emerged (prior to my entering) with a couple of large (bit damaged) snowman blow-molds. He was happy and should have been. I wasn't there for long - just checking it out; found out that they are open from 8AM to 8PM, Monday through Saturday. Also realized that within the Grand Rapids district, MOST (not all) of what comes out in the bins in this Grandville location (years ago, it had an annual doll / toy sale - dedicated volunteers - GREAT stuff) is LEFTOVER merch from all of the district stores, that didn't sell. NOT an incentive for me to crawl over dozens of pickers who are looking for the grail. Doubt I'll be back unless the district makes this worthwhile. When I was there, I had two items in my parked cart. When I went to get said cart, I couldn't help but notice a few, quite territorial young women standing next to it, monitoring retrieval of the cart. I wasn't there long at all. I ended up getting a couple of plush items for a small price. I'm not going to participate in a rush for items that were already on the shelf, in all of the district stores, to make a buck. Good luck to the rest of you who do the dance. :/

This is more of a review of the people that shop there. SCUM. OF. THE. EARTH. First had my entire cart stolen while looking and then got my wallet pick pocketed. Terrible people. Terrible place. DO NOT BRING VALUABLES IN HERE. Would leave negative stars if I could.

I never go here much for clothes because it feels kinda icky if you don't wear gloves, but I decided to give this place another chance this past week after not going for around a year. After getting home, I discovered one of the sweaters has MAGGOTS inside of it! Be cautious of what you're getting. I have no idea what other clothes there also had them, but into the trash it went. Not really the company or workers fault, just look thoroughly through clothing items you get! We don't know where they've been, or what kind of people are dropping these clothes off.

I accidentally found this outlet store. This store is full of everything that didn't sell in their local retail stores. You pay by weight for most items. I got a cart full for under $20. Next time I'm bringing a pair of gloves with me.

Great place to find bargains totally different than the stores, only complaint is that many of the workers pushing bins seem especially pissed off, customer service training is needed.

it's alright at best. from the corny entitled reseller kids to their grabby cohorts/family members that just stand around guarding their carts and standing in the way. nothing but a piranha tank. have had things snatched out of my hands a couple times. I've watched people bring food in and just eat waiting for new bins. they hang out all day trying to bully & intimidate other shoppers and it's just embarrassing. not to mention the workers that aid in this behavior and tip them off. unless you're looking to get into a pushing & shoving match with wannabe's inside of a petri dish I advise not going.

One of the workers was outwardly racist to customers. In the process of trying to switch out the bins, he "shoo"ed a hispanic women with a hand motion and said "vamonos". he was cleary not spanish speaking and white. most people in the store were families with young children, including that women, and the man created an atmosphere that was aggressive and uncomfortable, specifically for families of minority. it was clear the other workers were undisturbed by this behavior, which gives the impression the store is tolerant of racist behavior

Searching bins and the bins not even being labeled right is just nonsense. It is true they are cheaper but all the womens/mens clothes are mixed in together and the whole place itself is very unsanitary.

Absolutely terrible... It was so disgusting and dirty! The shoppers were vultures waiting for the next cart to be brought out from the back. My friend went into the back where there were signs clearly marked stating more shopping this way when one of what I'm assuming was an employee grabbed his cart and began pushing it into him he didn't say anything no hey you cant be back here we will bring the items out in carts nothing just rudely and violently began pushing his cart into him. Thankfully my friend turned and walked away.. other wise this could have turned out very badly. Terrible shopping experience. Will never go back there again

I've been to the "bins" in Indianapolis, Nashville, and Oakland. This Grandville location is by far the worst because the staff do not police the customers at all. There are tons of little kids running around playing on the floor with no parents in sight, shoppers fighting, arguing, and screaming over items, and homeless people and resellers camping out all day threatening and intimidating would be shoppers.I like a bargain, but I don't want to literally have to fight someone for it.
