Just left your salon this afternoon May 14 I got my hair colored and cut, cut is great, when I left my hair wasn't fully dry, once I got home and my hair was dry and within that next hr my hair (roots) were very orange, it's was supposed to just to cover my Grey's and keep my normal hair color (dark brunette) called your salon, they were very rude, telling me to wait a few days for an appt, I then said I could not go on with orange hair it's embarrassing, then asked for at least a refund to get it fixed tonight since they couldnt/wouldn't and the lady got extremely rude and said a manager would call me tomorrow.
The manager left between the 15 mins of the two calls we had (we chatted then she had the receptionist call me back)

I got my hair and makeup done here for my wedding. Every day I look at my wedding photos and I am reminded of how much I disliked the way it turned out. The woman that did my hair was in a terrible mood. I explained to her I wanted loose curls (with a photo reference) and when she turned me to the mirror I had ringlets. I raised my hand, because I talk with my hands, and I was trying to explain I wanted loose curls and she literally slapped my hand down. I basically settled after that because it was so obvious she was done with me (even though I had only been in her chair 30 minutes). I told the makeup “artist” I wanted a natural look with photo reference. She proceeded to put a bunch of purple eyeshadow on me. When I told her I didn’t care for purple she basically shrugged and said it wasn’t purple and kept going. When I got to my venue my niece told me I looked like a clown and she was right. It was awful. Every bride should feel beautiful on her wedding day and I most definitely did not and I’m still feeling it to this day. I paid sooooo much money and left wanting to cry and wishing I had done it myself. If you are a bride, I suggest going somewhere that they care about your opinion because it’s too important to risk it here.

UPDATE: the manager reached out and had them redone by a different person, and they turned out amazing this time ❤️ I will be returning to see Emily.
Had an eyelash perm and tint today. I normally get my hair done at the Plainfield location and have loved my services there, but wanted to treat myself to something new. The only lashes that look curled are a few small ones on the end, otherwise the rest look straight still like nothing was done. The tint didn’t make any noticeable difference at all.

I had a chick with pink hair who was very rude and condescending. She didn't listen to anything I told her about my hair and how I want it. I've been there before with other people and they all have been great. I wanted to get up and leave mid hair cut with the PINK HAIRED chick.

I got a full body massage here and the facilities were very clean and welcoming. Diane Z. did my massage and she was kind and professional. I asked her to focus on a specific area of my back, which she did and the pain was gone the next day! I would highly recommend her.

Was so excited when I received a gift card for a prenatal massage. I’m painful and getting close to due date.
Their policy is “if you cancel within 24 hours they take half the gift card balance”.
Got a text message a few hours before my appointment that the massage therapist went home sick, which is fine, I understand. I called to reschedule and lo and behold.. no time slots for when I am able to get this massage until after my baby is born.
I’m told to look at the other locations, which is a far drive for me. I asked for a refund on my gift card, they said no, that it doesn’t expire and so can use it in any service… But, I don’t want just any service, I want a prenatal massage!
For a crazy strict policy of “you cancel if you’re sick then we take your money”… they seem a bit hypocritical when I ask for my money back. So now I’m stuck driving a far distant to get a massage. They didn’t even offer anything extra for the inconvenience, like “hey we will give you an extra 15 minutes for your massage” I had to legit ask. They came back with.. we will give you 10$ off. oh thanks. it’s a gift card and I’ll never be back.
Just so disappointed. I’m pregnant and was looking forward to this. Now, I’m just not :/

My wife and I came in for our anniversary and we were very impressed with our couples massages we received. Honestly the best massage we have had. We felt that they paid special attention to detail and made sure we had the best experience possible. Definitely recommend Design 1 if you are looking for a good message.

I really enjoyed my facial by Emelie, my face felt great, my skin looks great a week later, the shoulder massage was a nice bonus. She made me feel comfortable about what clothing items I may remove if I wanted to. Left that up to me! Room was comfy, bed comfy and room temp and lighting was good. Definitely will return. I’ll try to remember before and after pics next time and update this review then!

Sad to say but this was one of the worst pedicures I have ever got. I didn't even get a color because I just wanted to get out of the chair. NOT worth $78. Also got my nails done and that was a just as bad. Nail started chipping an hour later. I was bummed because I wanted it to be good.
