“I used to visit Argos back in the day when we lived in GR, mostly for comic books. When I say 'back in the day'. I mean 1986 - 1989. My go to spots included Argos and Memory Aisle Books - for those GR natives old enough to remember that former used book store. It is wonderful to see that Argos is still open and cruising along. Any person/family who owns, operates, and manages a shop like this truly has their heart invested. I'm sure there's been lots of blood, sweat, and tears (and organizing many stacks of books) along the way. Thanks for keeping this iconic business alive and thriving.”
“Visited today with my friend and we were blown away. This store is wonderfully curated, as an advid reader, I'm thoroughly impressed with their selection as they have lots of indie pub books and I think there are even some self pub books. And if you are a girlie who loves bookish knick nacks this is the place for you. For me it is worth more that the 45 min drive from my house.”
“The new store was something to behold. Back when my wife attended the school store was located in a different building. Everything was presentable and the selection was quite large. My one hang up is that options for inventory in store are vastly greater than those offered online.”
