This has to be illegal... Staff at branch is great!
Different story for the carrier for my small business in the Creston neighborhood who constantly marks packages as "Held at Post Office, At Customer Request" The Carrier is taking it upon themselves to speak on our behalf. Does not leave package notice for attempted delivery. Happens on probably a monthly basis since 2022. Feeling targeted by rogue carrier making up the rules as they go. Expect it to keep happening despite multiple contacts with branch manager, and multiple supervisors buying and installing new mailbox. Just want the mail delivered.

Horrible service. Upon complaining about tge unprofessional service, the 23 year old manager who smelled like weed did nothing about my package and the rude woman working the counter. It will only be UPS for me moving forward.

The phone system is horrendous. I have to listen to announcements for 1.5 minutes before getting the main menu. Then, it asks me to say what I’m looking for but doesn’t understand what I’m saying when I annunciate clearly. Being able to press numbers would be much easier. For example, I say “Mail” and it tries to take me to “Stamps”. I say “Speak to an Agent” and it says “did you say, ‘hold’?”. It also makes you listen to their entire prompt before you can say your selection. I was unable to speak to anyone, of course, so the system had me enter my phone number to get a call back in 10 minutes. A few minutes later I received a voicemail on my phone saying that I missed their call… but the call never rang. My phone signal is fine so it didn’t make sense. I called again and had to go through the same mess to finally be able to request to speak to an agent again. The automatic voice said that my phone number was already entered and that I could not request a new call, then it hung up on me. In the last 5 minutes, I’ve received 2 more identical voicemails from them, but my phone has never rang so I’ve never been able to pick up the call. Utterly ridiculous.

So awful and unorganized. Every time I go there, it is a mess! Even though this is the closest post office to my business, from now on I will be driving to another Post Office further away.

I have worked as a funeral service professional for many years, and when we serve the family of a veteran we need to get a burial flag from the post office. ALL that has ever been needed was the person's DD214 and the appropriate flag application. When I went to the post office to pick up a flag, as I normally would, I was met with the rudest employee and they refused to help me because I would not provide the death certificate of the deceased with the flag form. The death certificate has never been, and currently is not, needed to receive a flag. I am unsure who was trying to 'help' me, but they need make sure they are better educated for next time.

This is the second time during an election cycle that my carrier (#77) has claimed that my mailbox is full and marked my home as vacant and sent back all of my mail without my consent. I find this extremely troubling that I continue to experience this issue while I'm awaiting my mail-in ballot and I have to go out of my way to ensure that I continue to get my mail. Representatives at the post office have indicated that this carrier often decides that mailboxes are too full to deliver mail too and declares residences as vacant and that I am one of many cases. THEN DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! Livid that I cannot trust the postal service to literally do their job.
