“We needed a car for my son, who attends college in Michigan. Coming from another State, we researched vehicles for sale beforehand and saw that B&D Auto had good ratings and great selection of cars within our price range. We arrived and saw that the dealership was small but equipped with its own automotive garage. The facility was noticeably clean and well-kept. David, the owner, was great to work with. He provided us with a brief history of his dealership, which is family-owned, and indicated that they thoroughly inspect their vehicles in their shop before selling them. We did not feel pressured during the entire experience, and David was very helpful and knowledgeable about the cars we test-drove. We purchased a vehicle, and the experience was very easy and efficient. David obtained the license plate and registration the next day, which was surprising considering the required process. David informed us that his dealership also provides maintenance and repair services. We plan to service the vehicle at their facility as well. Based on the level of service we received and the excellent overall experience we've had with David at B&D Auto, we would also recommend them to others.”

“We took a 3 hour trip to see the car we've been searching for. We were in contact with Harvy Auto Outlet from the time we found the car on their website, and they went above and beyond for us. Joel took our file to be our salesman and he made sure the car was checked over by their service department for anything that may have been missed when they received it. Joel got all of the necessary paperwork in order for our purchase, and made sure we had everything we needed for them before we started our trip over. Joel was very courteous, professional and personable. Their finance manager Steve was also very professional, courteous, and personable. “I had bought a car from them back in June of 2024. I bought as is and no warranty. Immediately after buying I had issues with car. Costing me hundreds of dollars just to get diagnosed. After findings of a bad engine Emir worked with me. He bought the car back and put in another way nicer and newer. He definitely lost money on the deal but as an ethical person he made it right even after harsh words from me. Emir was very upfront and overall I would recommend but it is imperative when buying a used car to get it checked out first.”

After about 20 minutes, I received a text suggesting I get new tire pads and after asking a few questions about the suggestion, I felt reassured I was receiving great care for my car. The car was a great price, they made sure it had new tires, an oil change, and everything that it would need to be roadtrip worthy.

“I was thoroughly impressed with Terry the owner. I paid $6,500 after taxes and fees for a solid van, WAY less than what i would've paid at a dealership, but the weather got hot suddenly, and I discovered the ac didn't work. I showed back up and Terry pulled his mechanic off what he was doing immediately, and had him recharge the ac. Terry then told me to let him know if that didn't work, and they'd find what was wrong and fix it.Sure enough, the next day all the refrigerant had leaked out and the ac didn't work again. Terry had me bring it back and said his mechanic would push everything else out of the way and try and fix it the same day. So I brought it back in, and they had it fixed by mid afternoon.What impressed me so much was that Terry COULD HAVE chosen to hide behind the bold-printed 'as is' sales contract and just told me to take a hike, but he didn't. And he never charged me one cent for the repair, even though replacing a condenser is easily a $300 job on the cheap end.Also, I noticed that the van was having some trouble idling after a trip on the highway. Again my fault for not checking it more thoroughly before buying it, but Terry told me they'd be able to fix it if it threw a code. I've already pinpointed the problem - needs a new egr valve and tube - and I'll be replacing it myself, but I know that Terry would honor his word if I asked him.Another thing I should point out is that Terry responded honestly to every single Google review, and his dealership has no complaints registered with the BBB as of a week and a half ago when I checked.The last thing that impressed me was that even when I was looking at the 4 vehicles I was interested in, whenever I mentioned to Terry anything that I found that wasn't working (e.g. low washer fluid, engine rumblings when idle, etc) he would immediately send his mechanic Thomas out to check the vehicle.I appreciate the opportunity to do business with an honest man, and my family and I will DEFINITELY be returning to Southern Auto in the future!”
