I would leave no stars if possible that's how terrible the service is. I watches 2 employees watch me wait for propane refill for over 30 minutes. I still had to reload my tank and go find a legit company. Absolutely do not give your money to these people!

I had an appointment for a hitch installation at this location scheduled 10 days out. U-haul had to order parts. A day prior to the scheduled appointment they called and told me the parts were not in yet. So they rescheduled a week later at noon. I showed up on that day at 11:55am and signed their 2 page contract for the installation. I asked how long this would take and was told 1 hour in a half. 90 minutes later I walked back to the store and saw my car parked in the same parking place with no hitch. I walked back in the store and was told they double book their appointments and the other car got there first. So ordering thru their 800 number was painful, and the whole scheduling, arriving on time for a scheduled appointment, and the lack of service was a total fiasco. I wouldn't waste my time there. I will be taking my business elsewhere. Extremely disappointed in U-haul Centerpointe in Grand Rapids MI.

We made an appointment for a hitch installation and to pick up a cargo carrier. When I made the appointment the website said that we had to remain with our car so we (my husband and I) did not take my car along with us. Checked in and the desk person said they would call us when it was done. I was expecting that this would take some time so we went next door to Olive Garden for 1.5 hours and browsed Rishi's. We went to check in on our car and it had not moved from where we had parked. They told us that there was an issue with the car before ours and that it would be at least another 2 to 2.5 hours because the car before us there were issues (which would have been nice to have had a call to let us know). We ended up taking a $40 Uber back home to pick up my car so that we could run our errands before most places close. Our car was finished at 6:30 pm after dropping it off at 2 pm. As we went to pick it up, we were told that because I made the mistake of putting 2017 instead of 2016 that they would have to get in the wiring and we would need to come back to get that installed. Fine, that is fine, we just wanted our car back and pick up the cargo carrier so that we could get out of there. They refunded the wiring and anything they didn't do... ok, why not just reschedule us so that U Haul doesn't lose profit? Fine whatever. I mentioned the carrier which I have an email that states that it would be there on that day. They had no clue about it and wrote our name on a sticky note to call us when they did have them in but in the meantime, they were going to refund us the carrier. What company does business like this? You know what, fine. Thank you for refunding me half of what I paid for and I will now be taking my business elsewhere. Oh also, the warranty is printed on the receipt that you get. No pamphlet or email. It is one line that says warranty. I am not sure that I trust that the hitch or exhaust were installed/reinstalled correctly.

The store manager is so rude! It's amazing she still has a job! It's absolutely unbelievable how she treats customers! Kayza murphy is her name! Absolutely ridiculous! I would avoid this uhaul!

Fraudulent charges to my card. I took pictures of the gas tank and submitted them in the link I was told to and now I'm being charged for filling it up to where it was when I received it (which was a little over half and they said it was full). And keeping it an extra day when I reserved it for 10 hours and returned it at the 10 hour mark? Not my fault you gave me a truck parked in the back parking lot 5 cars deep and took forever to give me my truck. Oh and since I disputed it and didn't pay it in time, they charged me a late fee while I was waiting on a reply. And they just auto charged it without my authorization... I have no problem paying what I owe, but not an extra $60 past that. Absolute scam of a business. I called corporate and a district manager "already looked at it" and marked it valid. No supervisor to speak to though. Scam scam scam. Disputing with my bank and will be filing a complaint with BBB as well. Thank you Denise and Anita for your absolutely repulsive behavior.

Just a heads up there is no elevator so you have to carrier your things up multiple flights of stairs.

Staff here is the best and I Had a great experience renting a Van from here to move my stuff . And the return was very easy using the self check in. Kasia and her staff. Had everything perfect and ready to go when I got there . And I will be recommending this location to my friends. And I will be going back to this location for my next rental needs !!

So I was in the process of renting a vehicle to move some stuff for a friend that had died out of their house. during this process they required three people that they could call and confirm that they need it. I got a hold of one friend and the other seem to not want to answer their phone quite possibly because they were getting a phone call from U-Haul storage place and didn't want to answer it cuz he didn't know it well apparently this was too difficult for these people and they decided not to rent a vehicle to me because it was too challenging for them to get a hold of people. this is the kind of service that this store gives they were rude they were not understanding in the least and probably the worst customer experience I've had today sad stayed with affairs when this is the best company can do.
