The Service Department has always been great. Unfortunately the salesman, Daniel Betten, seems inexperienced and unprepared for customers. We were able to come inside to sit at his desk to crunch numbers (after we asked). Because of his last name, maybe doesn’t have to try too hard. We were disappointed with our experience today and didn’t buy a vehicle, which we were prepared to purchase today.

I had an unsatisfactory experience at another service center- the tech was condescending and rude. I was apprehensive but my visit this time at Tony Betten on Plainfield was really great! The tech was extremely professional and kind and he helped identify a weird rattle just by me explaining it. Changed my oil, changed my filter, good to go! I will highly recommend to my friends. It was nice not being spoken to in a condescending way. Thank you for professional courtesy and service! I’m so pleased to not hear that rattle anymore! I wish I remembered their names. They were really good to work with! ?

I dropped my car off on Tuesday for a 10am appointment for simple front end issues. Toby has lied to me 3 times about when my car will be ready. He’s called me 3 to 4 times to offer additional services. I told him I just want the ball joint fixed and the other issue. Since then he has offered to fix my rear brakes at $500, an axel sleeve cover for $300, and additional front end work beyond the initially requested work. At this point I’m not sure when I will receive my car. Last communication was this afternoon and I was promised it would be ready this evening. Now they are closed. At least don’t lie, you know the timeline. I’ll need a loaner car so I can work. I’ll be stopping by first thing in the am. Thank you Tony Betten Ford and Sons.

Horrid service department, they had my car for 3 weeks and tried to overcharge me by 400 dollars for the service. Do not take your car here.
In response to call out, a poor loaner for 3 WEEKS before the first 2 attempts totaling almost a month of service time in inexcusable. I'm not driving a loaner all across town, I was locked into the ignorant service teams mercy. Horrible first time customer experience. The pricing was not as listed, quoted 425, tried to get me to pay 708, I paid 489, plus a hundred for a bogus extra service, and the recall wasn't even taken care of.

I took my 2019 F150 in for a moon roof repair, a plastic piece broke off that ended up costing me $790 to get it fixed.
After I got it in the moon roof was replaced and returned to me, on the drive home I pushed the retract button and it wouldn't closed or open. I took it right back to Tony Betten and they got it right back in and adjusted it again.
I drove it up north only to hear a loud air leak in the moon roof, when I got back to town I went back to the dealer and scheduled an appointment a week later. I dropped it off and later that day I got the truck back. All fixed.
Tony Betten & Sons Ford stood by their repair and corrected the issues for me. There was no added cost after the initial cost.
I'm very happy with this dealer.

I've been taking my vehicle to Tony Betten Ford for both routine maintenance and repairs, and I couldn't be more satisfied with their service. Every time I go in for an oil change, they are incredibly quick and efficient, getting me in and out in no time. When it comes to repairs, particularly with my van, they've been thorough and meticulous. I always leave feeling confident that my vehicle is in great hands. The staff is friendly, professional, and clearly dedicated to doing the job
