So 2 weeks ago I went in and bought the rest of their wood that I needed to start a project. The problem was is that I needed much more so had to have them order it. They said no problem as it's a "stock item" and they will order is ASAP and it will be ready that week to pick up. Well I called and it wasn't ordered or ready. No big deal I guess so I called back to find out when it would be ready and the guy had no clue what I was talking about so I had to have HIM order more. He said he would and that he would call me back. That was last week Wednesday.......I'm still waiting for a call back so I can tell Standale Lumber I went to one of their competitors and gave them the $8,0000.00 sale instead. Long story short.....I will NEVER go back to these clowns NOR will I suggest to ANY of my friends in the building trade to never go here and I have hundreds of people I know in the building trade. I know it's only $8,000 but that now went to someone else thanks to Standale Lumbers p*** poor customer service. P.S....be thankful I didn't mention names! I personally would have fired you both immediately after reading this review! 1

Patrick was knowledgeable and helpful. When our order wasn’t what we expected he worked with us to make sure everything was right and we were happy. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

If I could give them a no stars I would! Purchased doors through them over the phone specifically stated that they were to NOT be hollow core doors. Had my employee pick-up and they showed up with hollow core doors they look terrible they were extremely overpriced and they will not take them back even though we just picked up today. Stay far far away they obviously do not care about their customers they are just there to make a sale.

2/3 of the studs we got were extremely twisted. Most of the 2x10s were cracked right down the middle. And a majority of the 2x4s were shaped like an "S". Overall terrible lumber

Not impressed with the quality of the lumber. 2x6 were full of knots and soaked. Prices seemed high for what you get. I was a loyal customer to Standard Lumber but they only carry siding and roofing material now. Service wasn't very knowledgeable either. Trying to avoid the big box store but may have to settle on that. Sucks.

I am so disappointed in the lack of decent customer service from Standale lumber. We want to replace all of our interior doors and heard great reviews, so we wanted to try them out with our first door. After a failure to even order the door after we already paid for it, and multiple failures to return our calls, we are now over a month later and no door to go with our newly painted bedroom. I don't know what their problem is, but they won't be getting any of our future business or a good recommendation. And if they are only good for certain customers and size of orders, then I think that makes them even worse for not running a business striving to meet all customers needs regardless of what they are ordering.

Great people and knowledgable service! Every time I go in here I am greeted by people who recognize me and ask me about the progress of my home. Always able to offer advice and opinions and they have a huge selection of entry and patio doors set up so you can play around and find exactly what you need.
