Had a kidney stone early in the morning and needed to go to the ER, and the team here was kind, attentive and took very good care of me. I got right in and had my own room. Having just moved back to MI I wasn’t sure where to go, but I’m glad I chose there.

I came in after an alcohol withdrawal seizure and stayed four days on the first floor with Dr. Zachary Miller et. al. EVERYONE was amazingly kind and professional. The kitchen crew fed me well and the accommodations were very comfortable and clean. I left there today feeling clean and safe with more knowledge of the shape of my body and what I had to do to take care of it. THANK YOU TO ALL WHO ASSISTED ME ON ROOM 1G-25T!

My family member had an outpatient cancer surgery and the team from nurses, to oncology, anesthesia and surgery was outstanding. The compassion and care is second to none. I typically go to Butterworth, but I'm heavily considering changing hospitals. Thank you, all.

I unexpectedly had a stay of 5 days after coming in for what I thought was an outpatient surgery, I ended up having breathing issues, I was on 3g I think it’s called, my care was first class, from the drs nurses aides therapists dietary etc, everyone was so caring and kind and helpful, I want to especially praise Leah, she is an outstanding care provider, very in tune with me as her patient, she went above and beyond! Everyone that cared for me did! I’ll actually miss those who took such loving care of me and made sure my every need was met and I was as comfortable as I possibly could be! Thank you!!

Need general hospital admitance? GO TO TRINITY HEALTH. It REALLY depends on where you are being admitted to here. Meijer Heart Center, excellent. Admitted post surgery for heart problems after coming via ER, REALLY REALLY BAD! No private rooms. Room partner allowed to listen to TV at very high volume when my husband desperately needs sleep. The rooms are TINY, dingy, and there's no allowance to let a significant other stay past visiting hours at all. You have to share a bathroom with your room partner and their visitors when you are in a place where infection is a big concern! Don't count on HIPAA, your room partner and their visitors can hear EVERYTHING! Seriously, why would you come here when Trinity Health has privacy and quiet care!

Go to their ER! Way better than downtown hospitals! Amazing staff and only waited 30 min in a room to see Dr. Friske. He was so caring and knew instantly what I was dealing with!

While the people there were very courteous and kind, the care was subpar. The communication was less than transparent when our loved one got a hospital acquired infection in her port. The doctor admitted the infection came from them. She died after two agonizing weeks. She should’ve never gotten the infection!

The nurses, techs, and greeter have all been very friendly. The admiting and attending doctors were empathetic and friendly. One of them came in on a scheduled day off to help her patients get home before the holiday. The PA's seemed friendly.
Unfortunately It took 29 hours being here to receive the specialMRI which was needed as a next step. The small Reed City hospital made more progress in their 6 hours compared to here. We could have made it back home 11 hours away, admitted, and possibly with an MRI by now.
Again the staff is friendly. The biggest delays appears to be radiology in two areas:
1. scheduling
2. results to admiting Dr.
Excellent service from 4th floor E nurse staff and Gastro PA.

The staff were friendly and kind. My husband got sent here after going to urgent. Urgent care told him to go here for fear of a blood clot and very low O2 levels. In the end no blood clot so that is wonderful but they never re-checked his walking 02 levels. the recommendation was to "take a Claritin and wait and see what happens". So here we are him still coughing all day/night, wheezing and getting shortness of breath and all we have to show is 2,600 dollar bill for some Claritin. Super Frustrating

Who would think of asking a person if they know how to tie shoes when you hire them ? WELL apparently you need to. The said didn't know how to tie my husband's shoes! There are many other things that went bad w night nurses or night aids then I can even number here but you really need to hire better people for nights n weekends.

In ICU for 40 something days with a family member we saw a few of the PA’s and nurses really shouldn’t be working in the profession anymore, bed side manner and also not following dignity when providing care. I had to call and file a complaint with the hospital and then all of the sudden they knew how to keep people covered during bed baths and changes after even the patient was asking all that time to be covered because she was cold and scared and special needs.
The signing nurses in the icu are wonderful, I adore them and they did well with my family member who was in the hospital. The nurse aides did good too - minus a few with attitude. Doctors did okay; it’s hard to base care on them when you only see them 10 minutes every 24 hours when in the hospital. ?♀️

My special needs grandson is there. He has major medical issues , the staff is awful , rooms awful, no monitor at all which is totally wrong. How can his heart, pulse , oxygen, sodium etc be monitored without one.Nurse comes in every 4 hours for blood pressure. What if a emergency. He can not speak at all plus even if he could he's to sick right now. This hospital will be reported how awful. The parents are scared and get no comfort. Was transfered there hours ago ,still no Doctor . No respect for patient or parents.
